I went yesterday for the first and last time. This is actually the worst food I have ever gotten from a restaurant, and I eat out pretty frequently. We ordered 2 junior donair and a soda, it costed $17 cash and they don't have interac. They were drowned in sauce, ice cold, with dried out overly salty meat (clearly not off a spit, maybe yesterday's leftovers) and very little tomato/onion--super messy. Would not recommend.
Fantastic as always, ordered the classic plate. Fresh and yummy. Excellent customer service.Donair is still the best product here but chicken shawarma was more like cut up chicken breast. Rice was salty and falafels were burnt. Bringing it down from 5 stars to 3 stars
Sammy's is a perfect model of retaining the original family recipe and tastes through 2 generations. I've been going there for 35 years and it's exactly the same! Way to go team Harb!! Dad has taught you all well! We hope you teach your kids to carry on the traditionAll the best. Jason, Customer for life
Arrived at noon, they reheated the meat from day before. Usually very good. I was very disapointed
I won’t be back. Meat was dry not fresh. Didn’t help I saw the staff put donair meet in microwave to heat up. Barely any tomatoes on the donair. Also the only accept cash, but conveniently the have a private cash machine that charges you 3$ a transaction. Next time I’ll take the drive to Halifax donair in Milton.
The coolest place I’ve seen so far, from the cleanliness, to the amazing owner, to the incredible food, so much passion behind everything in this place. The shawarma was perfectly balanced with flavour. Rice was fluffy and delicious. The baklava was perfect ending to the meal, thank you for the amazing lunch and I cannot wait to try everything on the menu, see you guys definitely again 5/5⭐️⭐️?⭐️⭐️
Me and my family have been coming here since I was a kid! The food is so fresh and flavorful and the Donair sauce is the best!!
Been going to Sammy's longer than I care to admit and have never, ever once been disappointed. Amazing, fresh food, donair is a fave! Heads up they only take cash.
Disappointed. Overpriced & lacking the amazing flavours that brought us here in the first place. Hope they can get back to what they are famous for, great Donaire. The baklava was to die for...
Just paid $11.50 for the smallest shwarma I have ever seen!!!!! Also, cash only, which makes me wonder. Totally not impressed.
