Very good service and food, need a slush machine for Margaritas! Churros were a little bit brittle. Otherwise, a very nice experience.
What an incredible local treasure! The staff and Chef were very friendly and attentive. I very much enjoyed their patio setup and atmosphere. My Long Weekend Friday was made an instant success with the Onatrio Peach Margarita ??
Just had a nice lunch on the patio and everything tasted amazing. Service was outstanding. We tried the feature strawberry salad which was really great. We also tried the pork and steak tacos and the flavour were outstanding. Try this place. Honestly the best tacos I have had. We will be coming back. Loved it!
This place was amazing! I came as some friends recommended it, and they were right, the food is DELICIOUS! We had barbacoa and cochinita tacos, and their tres leches cake; if I could, I would have eaten more. The tacos are well served, they are big in size and I think one order is enough per person. Their margaritas are also delicious.
Great food and awesome service. We reached around 04pm at the restaurant and even though they had the tables reserved for a party at 06pm, the team accommodated us and welcomed warmly. Friendly staffs and amazing food make this restaurant a special one. Highly recommend this place.
Meh....Honestly, I really wanted to give this privately owned restaurant a high rating because I feel bad that they opened when the pandemic began and so they're likely financially struggling, however, I have to be honest.... The food was "meh..." and overpriced.The restaurant's in-house menu prices are more expensive than what is currently online (be warned!). One will pay $27+tax ($30.51) for three small fish tacos that are simply flavoured (nothing extravagant); that's $10/small taco.... no bueno. I was expecting more flavour and was unfortunately disappointed; the fish taco was literally something I could have easily made at home. The guacamole and chips were also simply flavoured, however you're paying $12+tax for a palmful of guac and corn chips. The churros (dessert) were alriiiight; fairly hard deep fried batter covered in sugar; nothing too special. 3 churros for $13... yikes.The service was good; Dino was very attentive and personable, and the decor is tasteful and inviting.Unfortunately I go to restaurants for the food, not so much the decor/service, so I will not be returning.

From mouth-savoury fondue to action-packed tacos to vibrant flavorful margaritas, you’re destined to get your moneys worth and your belly satisfied at Pepe and Lela’s! The owner was involved every step of the way throughout our dining experience and our server Dino delivered his service with passion and excellence! It’s left us with a memorable outing! Can’t wait to go back
Loved it. Nice cozy spot in Burlington for some upscale Mexican food. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming, great atmosphere ona Friday night. We had the chips and guac, jicama mango salad to start.. Solid apps so far so good. The guac is on point I could eat that daily, but I did find the chips a little salty. We ordered the arrachera grilled beef tacos, the were PHENOMENAL... the beef was super tender cooked medium rare, cut into small cubes and they loaded up the beef inside the taco to the point when you tried to fold the taco to take a bite, the steak was literally falling out of the shell. I'll 100% come back, looking forward to when they have the side patio open this summer.
First off...I had a blood orange margarita & my friend had a lime margarita ~ SO GOOD!!!!! Loved them! We then had chips & guacamole & pico de gallo for our appy...EVERYTHING, right down to the chips was homemade, including a mango/habanero sauce our server brought out for us to try. BEYOND DELICIOUS and a very generous amount of it all! I had the pork tacos (the pork was so tender) & my friend had the chicken mole tacos, again, both TO DIE FOR!! Three good sized tacos that are stuffed with meat of your choice. Of course we couldn't pass on dessert ~ three large churros with Dulce de leche, raspberries, blackberries & whipped cream...we inhaled it all! The ambiance is spot on with a Mexican theme & very clean. Our server was a sweetheart, definitely knew how to keep the ladies happy! Super happy with the whole experience ~ will DEFINITELY go back!!! ????
I’ve been here many times and it is always incredible! Make a reservation so you don’t miss out! Whatever the feature margarita is, try it and try it with spicy tequila if you like some heat. I’ve tried the entire menu and love it all!
