Last week, we started renovating our kitchen which meant finding closeby restaurants for take out. We knew this restaurant was close to where we live but over 10 years ago, we had tried it but the food was terrible. I said to my husband, let’s give it another try maybe it will be different! I’m so so glad we did, the food was excellent. We ordered the Kofta dinner. Meat is very flavourful and portions are good.We ordered again a couple of days after that & tried their Lamb Shashlik which was equally as good. They sure didn’t disappoint! We found out that lucky for us, Monfort Burloak changed hands a couple of years ago which is why the food is awesome now.This just became our new favourite place to order from. We haven’t experienced sitting in the dining room for dinner yet as it’s been only take out for us but every time my Irish husband, who now loves Middle Eastern food, goes to pick up the food, they are very nice & welcoming to him .Long story but worth writing for sure! great food and wonderful service. Thank you for such a great experience. We still have about 2 more weeks before our kitchen is ready so I’m sure you will see more of us…Please feel free to use this on any of your social media platforms. We had dinner on the way home from a long day in the city. Wow, this was probably the best customer service that I have ever had. The food was fast and delicious and the waitress Christine was fantastic. The kitchen staff were wonderful and I loved the sauces so much I needed to buy some for home!It is quite a drive for us to come for dinner but we will definitely be back!
Amazing welcoming service and amazing food. We had the mix grill for four and it included almost everything on the menu and was enough for five of us. The food was great and filling, a lot of meat options. The server was good and the atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. We will back soon.
Highly recommend! The portions were massive and the taste was delicious! Authentic tastes and good vibes in the restaurant! The staff were so kind and friendly as well!
Truly so delicious ! Went in not knowing what to expect. Normally I’ve had shawarmas filled with a million different things but this was something else. The chicken was so flavourful and the pita so fresh. Salad was also delicious and crisp. Highly recommend :) staff was also incredibly nice and patient with me.
Will never go here again. 1st time at this location and last. Didn't get past the front door. Sign flashing that its open for business. Walked in with my wife and was greeted by being yelled at that they are closed. I mentioned the sign says open and I was told in a rude manner that he just turned it on and there was no food ready. Very rude. Not family friendly or friendly whatsoever. Will never go back. It was the same rude guys that are mentioned in other reviews here. UPDATE: In response to the owners response, the rude individuals were not in the kitchen and the place was empty. There was zero need to yell or be rude to customers PERIOD!
Food was mediocre. To much meat, not enough toppings, the meat was dry and the sauce was all at the bottom and not even what so ever, had to throw it out. Only rating it three stars because it was at least fresh. Wouldn't recommend it for shawarma, that's what we had.
I went to Montfort today with my family. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. The restaurant was clean. Overall great experience. We love the chicken shawarma pitas. The service was fast and friendly.
Ordered over the phone for my sister and her family tonight. My first time ordering from Montfort. Spoke with Elias on the phone, he's very courteous and accommodating. I asked for it to be delivered by them and he very happily obliged. According to my sister "Yes it's all delicious. Salad was fresh and crunchy very refreshing!"
