Nice size portions, tasty food and friendly service. Don't judge a book by it's cover. This unsuspecting small restaurant surprised me and will have me back to try more of the menu. The hard working staff clearly know how to take care of their guests, I felt like family dining with them. They genuinely want you to enjoy their yummy food.
First time eating at Luk's with my family and we really enjoyed it. We were seated right away, the server and staff were warm and welcoming , and the food was hot and flavourful. We were surprised at the portion sizes which are very generous, and they have a wide variety of different menu choices. Absolutely loved it, and we will definitely be back again.
Absolutely the worst diner I've ever been too. If you are looking for food with no taste. Coffee that tastes like water, then this is your place. Now if you are looking to test if your taste has come back after covid. This is not the place. The food has no taste at all. It's not home style as they advertise. Wonderful experience. The owner and waitress went over and above to cater to my family and I. My children were playing and they were more than accepting of them and the ruckus. The portions were huge, we had to bring 3 containers home. To top it off I had home made rice pudding (Luk himself) for dessert. I will definitely be coming back!
Nice family owned restaurant. The portions are big, prices are good and the staff are friendly. Their french fries are very tasty. Usually enjoy food from there, except the last time we ordered... My chicken souvlaki was undercooked and therefore inedible. Disappointing because every other time ordering from there has been great.
Incredible Breakfast Lunch or Dinner … I have never been disappointed … Everybody needs to try this diner?❤️ The atmosphere is warm cosy and the owners are fantastic people ❤️❤️They go out of their way to make you feel like your family❤️❤️ The portions are large the food is incredible if you have to go out to eat put Luk’s on your list❤️❤️
Excellent breakfast and fantastic staff
We've been reading so many reviews about the "home made" food at Luk's Diner since Covid started. It's been on our list to try, and we finally went for lunch. We were very disappointed in the food. It's not "home made", or "homestyle"; but rather amateurish. Frozen food and sauces being passed off as made in house. Entrees totally devoid of any flavour. The service was great, the place was clean. Not enough of an experience to bring us back. We can get way better food for our dollar in Burlington.
