Horrible dining experience. Our server Robert, was extremely rude on many accounts. The food tasted very good but was highly overpriced for the small portions provided. The service was very slow..unless you were a regular local customer, you were treated second class. Basing this review on our server. It's really too bad, because it was not the first time this server acted rudely..I will not be coming back and won't be recommending this venue.
Laura was an exceptional server! Friendly, helpful, attentive and accommodating. Some very interesting items on the menu combining different flavours. Enjoyed the mushroom pasta and two of our party had a very tasty burger. They are very accommodating regarding gluten free, veg, vegan etc. Great experience - thanks a lot!
The food was just ok; it was well plated but overpriced for what it was. My mother had the salmon which she enjoyed, my steak had a nice flavour but it was cooked a little more than I would have liked. The rest of the party said their food was ok.The waitress was fantastic, very friendly as were the other staff.

Service was friendly, the rest disappointing.The food was overpriced, no flavor, tired salad and poorly presented.The wine was expensive for the quality.Great location but lacking interest in upkeep.
Don't eat the specials. Underwhelming. Had the seafood risotto tonight and it was very disappointing with only 3 tiny scallops in the entire dish for 37$. Spoke to server about the dish and they did nothing to correct the issue.The menu items we ordered salmon, mushrooms on toast, and Cesar salad were all great. Service overall was great too despite the food taking so long to come. We got bread baskets for the table while we waited. Got there at 730 and left by 1030pm. Need more parking spaces. There is a park nearby that has pay parking by the looks of it.
Have frequented the Lowville Bistro periodically for many years. I kid you not, tonight’s meal was the best I’ve ever had in all those years.Service, as always, was phenomenal. Our server Joanne was wonderful and I afraid to share in a joke. Chef Dallas knocked it out of the park tonight with the specials. The perfect portions, not too filling and you can tell that a lot of passion went into the meal.If you’re ver in the area or passing by, please stop in for a bite.
Lowville Bistro just hosted my daughters ConfirmAtion party and we couldn’t be happier with not just the food and atmosphere but the excellent service! Although we had a large group, the food came out hot, fresh, timely and incredibly delicious !
The food and the service was great! Really liked that it was not busy at all, especially on a Sunday night and after the Covid limits were lifted.
Every time we have had a meal at the Lowville Bistro it has been wonderful. The food is delicious, the wait staff are friendly and efficient. It is our go-to place for special occasions. It is not inexpensive, but it is worth every penny.
