That was a fantastic Dining experience. We literally dropped in without a reservation last Friday at 8:00pm. The first impression was a bit strange the restaurant has no windows. But then:The owner welcomed us very enthusiastic, and then Valentino our waiter was very professional, helpful and entertaining.We ordered Caesar Salad prepared fresh at the table, an oaked California Chardonnay and a Chianti. Both wines were delicious - and those were just ordered by the glass.Our main courses, Supreme Chicken and Grilled Salmon very tasty and the dessert Sticky Toffee and of course an espresso in a very decorative espresso cup. When we are back in the are - we will be back.
My husband and I ate here this past Friday to celebrate his birthday. It was very disappointing. We had won $200 gift certificate as a stag & doe prize and still ended up paying $170 out of pocket for a meal I barely ate. Not once did our waiter ask us how our entrees were, or we would have told him that my husband’s steak was under cooked and my lobster was so tough I barely touched it. The best part was the wine which was $22 a glass and I looked up to see if LCBO carried it and they do for $15.40 per bottle. Needless to say we will not be back, nor would we recommend to anyone for their hard earned money.

Was celebrating my birthday and my Father’s birthday which was the 25 and 28th of April. Enjoyed the food even though it was a pricey. The Lobster and the cheesecake was to die for.
This was our first time eating at Lord Nelson. Our experience was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was 5 star+. Danny our waiter went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of! We highly recommend this restaurant and we will most definitely return here!
Went with a group of people, and overall the dinner was ok. It wasn't amazing, just your regular steakhouse. I wouldn't quite call it top service fine dining either as the service was on par to places like the Keg, but not the higher level sophistication you'd get from the true fine dining restaurants.And now that restrictions are lifted, they have placed tables where tables don't belong. Throughout the entire dinner, the space was so cramped that every time the server walked past, he would knock into my chair, or kick it, or knock things off other people's chairs. I could reach out and touch the person sitting in the next table over. On top of which, there were groups of people just standing around the walk space with their wine, chatting and just blocking the path, obviously with no masks either.The food itself was ok. The oysters were fresh, the steak was tender, and the cheesy cauliflower is good. The mashed potatoes were bland and hard, not soft, silky and fluffy like it should be. Almost seemed like they didn't add anything to the potatoes and just mashed boiled potatoes and served.Overall, not really worth the price. There was potential, as the place is decorated like fine dining, but it just didn't quite hit the mark.
Sooooo delicious.Dined here for my brothers birthday .I ordered the Caesar salad (A MUST!) they make it For you at your table !!!And then a steak with veggie and potatoes on the side .Amazing service . Will be back!

The service was excellently! Pat and his partner were wonderful! We sat at table 19 and had 7pm reservations. We were seated on time. Went on a Tuesday night for our daughter's birthday and the food was amazing! Dinners ordered were the surf and turf, king crab, sea bass and pasta, fillet and baked potato. Everything was cooked perfect and not over seasoned. Autmosphere was great and everything was so clean. First time and it won't be our last :)
This establishment is the benchmark of what other restaurants / hospitality businesses strive to reach.If you’re looking to have an exclusive unique dining experience, this is the best.The extra expense to dine here, creates exclusivity.Therefore making a wonderful atmosphere of like minded people.You’ll never feel rushed or pressured to eat and leave, as another person is waiting for the seat.Although mostly every table is full. The bookings are sensible and never double booked.I truly appreciate this place, not only for the wonderful food. It’s for the wonderful business decision to be the best. Catering to a smaller market segment with 100% attentiveness and perfection.Other places try to replicate this atmosphere. However it’s never been duplicated.It’s 1 of 1 and I’m honoured to dine there.
