Usually pretty good. I went recently to grab some takeout and the service was great but when I got my food home, the ribs were burnt. Looked like someone smothered them in bbq sauce to cover it but the burnt smell/taste was awful. Generally though, they are pretty good at this Kelsey's.
I have been a patron at this location for over 10 years and have also befriended a few of the staff. I have never had such a horrible experience as I had tonight. Our waitress (whom was too preoccupied with the “party” inside…her words) was almost non existent. We had to ask multiple times for drinks and for takeout containers. We were seated on the patio. When we went to pay we used a gift card of $100. The bill was $97 and change. She just offered to use the remaining money as her tip so “we didn’t need to keep the card for only a few dollars”. WOW. Also, when we were just about to leave she proceeded to toss another billfold on the table so we “could leave her a tip”. She made sure to tell us we couldn’t exit off the patio and made sure to ask “did you leave the tip on the table”. Again WOW. What kind of professionalism is that. I rely on tips myself in my occupation also but I’m sorry that was classless considering her service was under par. My friends food was over cooked and inedible. She never asked how our food was at all, considering my friends plate was barely touched. I am appalled at her behaviour.
The beet salad was all iceberg and romaine lettuce. It is pictured being leafy greens (spring mix) on the menu... the rest of it was good but I don't want to spend $20 for iceberg lettuce.
Second time here in 3 years. Both times food was raw. At least this time it was steak not raw chicken sandwich like last time. They bring you and new one overcooked but you're already disgusted by that point and never want to return. YOU CANT RUN A RESTAURANT WITH KIDS! You NEED experience. What happened to Kelsey's from 15 years ago? It was at least average then. Now you're way better off at McDonald's. At least it's consistent and it won't kill you.
What a horrible experience - came in with my husband and my two year old - at least 20 open tables in sight. Said I would happily wait could we sit down and get a drink until a server was ready - manager came out and told me there was absolutely no staff to serve even a water due to a power outage? I’ve worked in restaurants a long time / good managers jump in and take a drink order to make their customers happy, especially customers willing to wait... not turn paying customers away.
Dined here for the first time and was very impressed with the quality of the food, drinks & reasonable prices.It gets 5 stars because the staff went above and beyond to make sure my partner and I were comfortable. I think our servers were Dave & John? I’m admittedly terrible with names so I might be wrong, sorry!So glad we choose this spot over another rival restaurant chain. We will definitely be back!
Chicken wings stale not edible. Got it replaced it twice still same. Beer good . Spinach dip is good . Wings not worth at all. Reheat wings.
We had a Fantastic meal here Thursday night, highly recommend the Truck Stop Burger!We had a issue with the checkout option where it let us redeem our scene points for a discount on the meal (1000 points for $10 off), the machine took the points but didn't effect the bills total which was upsetting HOWEVER, upon raising the issue with Derek the General Manager, he set us on our way with a $25 dollar dinner voucher which was extremely thoughtful. Wasn't even the fault of Kelseys.Our server was very polite and attentive and the food was sooo good.We will absolutely be returning.Many thank to Derek, Kelseys front and kitchen staff.
Great Bartender! Can't remember his name but was a big guy with a great personality! Sure they probably know who I am talking about. Great meal and service
Ordered curb side for dinner tonight- wanted to modify things so I called into the restaurant after placing order online…got the pleasure of speaking with the manager John, who was absolutely amazing!!! He is superb at customer service- what a pleasure to speak with him! He modified our order to the way we asked and was too kind. He brought our food out when we arrived too. Thank you John and team- the food was delicious and the service made it even better!! We appreciate people like you so much!
