Very good service and atmosphere! Which then...made the food and experience that much better. Definitely one of our favorite places to dine. ??
Had the most amazing experience at Jake’s tonight! Enjoyed our dinner on the patio, which was so nice and breezy! We had their famous lobster roll (you NEED to try it), shrimp tacos (SO GOOD) and Daisy Oysters! The food and drinks were picture perfect, presentation and taste was 10/10! Our server, Lorraine, was beyond attentive, answered all questions and went through all the condiment varieties for the oysters with us! Lorraine is the best server I have had in a long time! If you haven’t gone to Jake’s yet, you are missing out!
We ordered the calamari, perfectly battered and a decent serving. Mains were sushi wonton nachos and a sirloin cheddar burger. Food was served hot, service fast and decent portions. Will definitely visit again

As expected, mostly seafood but lots of choice for non-fish eaters. Steak tacos, and shrimp tacos were very good. Nice covered and uncovered outdoor seating. lots of parking. We would absolutely return if we were local.
Our first visit to Jake’s was made particularly special by our server, Mark, who answered all our questions about the restaurant and the menu. The PEI oysters were moist and delicious…there were four sauce choices sauces and freshly grated horseradish!! The pickerel was pan fried to perfection; the Snapper Fish Tacos had a lovely piece of fish in each taco and the coleslaw was fresh; the tenderloin was cooked to perfection and the special fish of the day was flakey and moist. We will definitely return when we are next in Burlington!
Great food and great service!
I have spent three, two week stays in the hotel next door so far and ate at Jakes on all but three nights and received nothing but exemplary service of excellent food. Not only that, but travelling alone, I would often eat at the bar and receive fine company and conversation as a bonus. I'm a fan of heat so the Spicy Mussels and Korean Steak Bites were favorites but everything I've had has been excellent. Hoping I'll be back again soon.
