It's a very nice grocery store. We ate at one of their eateries there (its like a small restaurant). I would rate it higher, but it was very dirty. None of the tables were clean, like I mean literally all of them were dirty.
Great staff. Always willing to help. Still not sure why they don't offer samples! Store is in a very convenient location.
This is a great Fortinos. The food is fresh and there is always enough of everything. If you have the budget for it, I highly recommend shopping here.
I am a customer of Fortinos for over 30 years. I was shopping at Fortinos at 2515 Appleby Line in Burlington on Friday, July 8, 2022.I wanted to buy a ground lamb at the meat department, but it wasn't available that day. Fortunately Connor was at the meat department that day and he made it happened. Connor told me to come back in 10 minutes and he will prepare a grand lamb ready for me. He did and my family and I enjoyed a home made lamburgers last weekend. Thank you Connor for your efforts to make things happen.
I once considered Fortinos to be a top tier grocery store. Unfortunately the last few trips have resulted in too much food waste. The grapes (>$10) were purchased today and we couldn’t see the rotten ones or the mold until we got them home and unpackaged them.So, the take away is that there is no sense in spending more at a (once) top tier grocery store.Fortinos- When consumers are forced to spend more, we also expect more. The bar is higher for you because your prices are higher- do better or make room for the lower cost grocer- we know what to expect from them.
Been coming here for years and the grocery experience has always been great. Bakery is also wonderful and fresh. The take home dinners have gotten better and now there is a weekly discount on sandwiches. Would be great to see halal offerings more but otherwise 5/5 !

We bought incredible sirloin steaks, freshly cut to order with the bone in by butcher Ron and they were fantastic! Thank you for always providing excellent quality, a clean store and service with a smile!
High quality grocery at a high price. If you’re not wealthy don’t go to this shop. You will get a premium service at premium price. Please try the fish section if you don’t care about money. One time they charge 5 times the actual price of product and didn’t even apologized when the fault was found and rectified.
I tried to buy steak with no mask and the manager rudely demanded I put one one, I told her I was exempt and she said ‘I don’t care, everyone wears a mask’… Um, what if you’re exempt? It was really saddening. She told me I was trespassing and was going to call the police. I used self checkout anyways and left. What a terrible experience with somewhere I used to love to shop.
