I will start by saying that I have been a customer at this location for about 12 years now. I’ve celebrated birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions there with my family and friends about a dozen times a year. Tonight, I ordered dinner for my family over the phone as takeout and I was told that they were busy and that it would take about 30 minutes before I could pick up, to which I said no problem. I showed up after half an hour, and they had no record of my order being taken by anyone. I confirmed that the phone number I called was correct and the manager proceeded to tell me that they would put a rush on a new order. Nearly 35 minutes later they come out and charged me $64 for my meals without any adjustments made for any of the inconvenience they had caused me. I asked to speak to the manager again and after another 10 minutes of waiting, the girl at the front desk comes back and said the manager was taking off 20% off for the trouble. That’s it. The manager couldn’t even tell me herself on top of everything that had come before it. VERY disappointed and frankly disgusted by the management and service at this location. They have been slowly going downhill but tonight’s display is by far the worst service I have experienced yet. To which I say, goodbye to a place I have supported for so long.
EXCEPTIONAL!My family and I dined here on the weekend.Our waitress, Bailey, provided us with 5 star service, and that was after we moved tables twice. She made dinner out so enjoyable, laughing with my kids and knowing exactly what to bring at the right time.We will come back to this location again just because of her!!!
With Covid, it’s been quite a long time since I’ve gone out to eat. Everyone made me feel comfortable and was very clean. Always loved the food there! My waitress's name was Chloe and I just want to say thank you for making my night out a great experience!
I/we recommend this place! My company and I always receive a very delicious meal, and leave satisfied. We especially enjoy when we get Bailey as our server as she always provides a delightful & efficient experience. We are giving this place 5 stars solely because of her as with her as our server we are assured to receive our East Side Mario’s outings to its finest.
I came in for dinner with my daughter. I've been to this location multiple times I've dealt with many servers. Valentines day I came in and my server was Bailey she was fully dressed in pink and red. We came in st Patrick's day as well and she went all out in green. She gives amazing service and puts her best foot forward. Thank you Bailey for everything! We will continue to come to see her!
Excellent and attentive wait service! Unlimited soup and bread were delicious as well as the main pasta dish. All you can eat soup/salad/soda to accompany your main dish ensures that you will never leave half-full! Good location in Burlington, ON.
I went to East Side Mario’s for the first time out since lockdowns and restrictions and it was such a wonderful experience. It’s been so brutal during the pandemic not being able to do anything and it felt great to have some normalcy by going out for a meal. Chloe was our server and she went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. She was friendly and super quick with everything. I left my debit card on the table and she came running out after me to make sure I got it. She really went above and beyond and the food was great too. I’m so happy that restaurants can start serving again so owners and the staff can start making money again.
CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS AMAZING! I've been to several different locations however this one had to be the best so far. The staff were really good at providing information about everything! Also being on the ball with serving the food was great... being able to be served hot fresh food makes it even better!
Really nice portions and always like switching between the soup and salads
We ended up ordering the spaghetti with meatballs, tomato basil soup, and garlic loaf for takeout. The spaghetti with meatballs was tasty, but the portion of pasta was small with a small amount of sauce even after i had ordered/ paid for extra tomato sauce. The soup tasted off, I am not sure if it was because we ordered it close to when they were closing. The garlic loaf was great.
