Service was great and attentive. Staff were super accommodating and friendly to our kids. Quantity of food was way more than needed. Salad was double what we'd share at home. Our first dinner out as a family and though decent didnt blow our tastebuds away. Chicken parmigiana was decent though a bit overcooked on the coating as it was dark brown. Pleasant experience but not one I'd repeat often.
Very disappointed with our experience with this location tonight. I haven't been to East Side since the pandemic. East side was one of my favorite restaurants and since I had developed some problems with gluten I hadn't switch up my type of meals here. So I was really excited to try the gluten free pasta that we stopped in. Sunday at 530 restaurant was about 1/2 full. We sat down and had service pretty quick. We could tell the waitress was new cause she really didn't know the menu. The bowl of salad, that I love came and couldn't believe that salad sucked. It was soggy because it was drenched with dressing. See pictures. Then waited 45 min for our entree to come. Meal was good. I must say the gluten free pasta was surprisingly great. When it was time to pay the waitress didn't know how to work the debit machine and handed it to me to enter my scene, gift cards and debit card. I know she's new but obviously not quite ready. Not sure if I will return to that location again
Horrible experience to say the least, decided to take my kids out for dinner. The kids bubble blow pops tasted like stale club soda & had to be replaced 3 times before they were able to consume them. Waited 45 minutes just for theKids food to come out incomplete.The manager-our waitress literally dropped the food at the table and took off. The kids finished they’re meal & I had yet to still be served, after another 20 minutes I had to wave down another server because mine was constantly in the back chatting instead and request for mine just to be brought Out in a take out box as the kids were already finished the meals . Horrible customer service wait time over an hour for a pizza that came out literally soft and soggy & tastes like it had been doused in salt. Common sense when you go out for dinner , the point is to eat together. It wouldn’t have been so bad if there was some communication from our sever but she could’ve cared less . Definitely won’t be back
Best bang for your buck. It's like three meals for the price of one. I barely ate my entree and packed most of it up and ate it the next day. Unlimited soup and salad is a meal on its own. Plus if you sign up for their emails, you get a free appetizer.
FLAVOUR!!I honestly don't know why this place isn't more busy on a Saturday night, it needs to be because East Side Mario's has REALLY stepped up their flavour game!! I will admit, in the past East Side Mario's food tasted like flavourless wet noodles, but my my have they changed! I had the Chicken Tetrazzini and the garlic flavour was superb! Perfect amount of sauce, and generous portion. The cesar salad was delicious as well, along with the garlic bread provided. My son's pizza was loaded with toppings and the crust was not too crispy and not too soft; he loved it. Photos added. Excuse that portions have been eaten... we couldn't wait! Ha!PERFECT family restaurant, with clean hip music, modern decor, good service, and good prices. Check it outttttt!!
We had dinner there on Sunday as a family of 2 adults and 3 children. When we arrived, the restaurant was trying to accommodate a large party which had a reservation. It took quite a while to be seated. This part of our dinner could have been handled better as there were other employees in the restaurant who could have seated the other 4 families which were waiting.Besides how long it took us to get a table, everything else was very good. Our food tasted very good and we felt like we got good value for our money.Our server was Tara and she is truly what made our experience good. She was friendly and attentive. One of my daughter’s meals didn’t come at first when everyone else’s food came. Tara was very apologetic and rushed the order. What set her customer service apart was the fact that they waived the cost of my daughter’s meal without me having to ask. The fact that she took initiative on top of already giving us good service truly set her apart. Even though not every aspect of our dinner went perfectly, due to her level of service we will definitely be returning to this location in the future.
Been 2years since I was aloud to eat at a restaurant ! The staff was super friendly and very cheerful, food was just as good as the service! Cheers to the team
Got take out 2 weeks ago and the order was all wrong. Did not get anything I ordered. Called the restaurant and they did nothing about it. The salad was brown and the service was terrible. They were supposed to call me and never heard from them. TERRIBLE

Ughh.. not a good experience last night. Did the family meal for take out. The salad was in the white container like the 2 person meal and jot the black one that we got last time w the four person meal. So we got half the salad and that would never make me write this review because as u can see.. I love this place by my past reviews but when I open the spaghetti and meat balls and just from cracking open the lid all I smell is burnt food. It was soo over powering I had to leave the room. My daughter still wanted to try it but didn't eat nothing. Not even the meatballs which is weird. I didnt try it cause the smell was enough to just gag me. Also there wasn't even enough sauce to cover the noodles, which is always a problem when ordering this dish. I never mentioned it before but while im here, I'll let it be know so hopefully the kitchen can start fixing this problem. Half the pasta was still white.Def a disappointment last night Marios. ?
