You can never go wrong with Coop fried chicken! I usually go for their Cobb salad as I’m an avid Cobb salad fan, and their fried chicken dressed in their NY Butter sauce added on top of my salad is chefs kiss! I’ve tasted the Korean burger and it’s absolutely delightful, so flavourful and delicious. My husband got the Nashville poutine and he thoroughly enjoyed! My friend who got the cauliflower tacos said that the fried cauliflower wasn’t fried enough if that makes sense - almost like the batter wasn’t all there, but the saucing and taste of the tacos was still great! The interior has a very nostalgic feel to it. It’s overall very clean and a great atmosphere! The staff is so friendly every time I come here to dine in and even to pick up my takeout. You won’t regret dining with Coop!
Patty was an amazing bartender! super cool bar, very chill atmosphere. give this patty guy a raise, he deserves it. Other staff was welcoming as well. made the night go very smooth, was an excellent bartender. would come back again, 10/10. chicken was amazing too. Highly recommend!
This place is amazing...Sunday brunch...all you can drink mimosas is great!!! Highly recommend this place for a good time now that covid is finally in our past (fingers crossed)!!! Poutine was large and chicken sandwich was delicious...my son said the tacos were amazing!!! Fun and friendly staff as well...will definitely be going back again!!!!
Had dinner there last night for the first time. Service was excellent and our food came out quick and hot! Would definitely recommend this place and will be a frequent customer there. I had the crispy original chicken sandwich and it was the BEST sandwich I have had. The chicken was so juicy and delicious and I had the waffle fries that were excellent as well Patty and his wait staff were super friendly and didn’t rush us off when we were done….there are board games for you to play if you are staying a while which I think is so cool.. Two thumbs up everyone!!!!
Great 90s theme and quality food. Nashville sauce is a killer good spicy. Closest I've felt to the 90s party experience. Goes from packed to empty pretty quick thought. I loved it busy, spouse loved it quiet. Close to electric vehicle charging stations.
I want to start this review by stating, I am reserving my right to change it based on Brunch. I do plan to return and try it out. That being said, this is a pricy joint, but you're definitely getting what you paid for. Ordered the chicken sandwich, and chicken and waffles. Got a side order of onion pedals, waffle fries and deviled eggs as an appetizer. The deviled eggs were interesting, but I think maybe they'd be better with a bit or chili spice or something. They were deep fried which was super interesting, but didn't add a ton to the flavour experience overall. The Onion pedals were good, but the breading didn't stick super well. The waffle fries were actually pretty amazing, simple salted and tasted double fried. Very crispy, I was extremely impressed. Now the chicken sandwich was out of this world, maybe could use extra pickles but their chicken is where it's at. In the great chicken sandwich wars, this one didn't need to fight because it had already won. Not overly crispy, but very very well seasoned.Oddly enough the star of the show was the chicken and waffles, and I don't think because it was necessarily the best item overall, was just the most surprising. And the waffle bit was the surprising part! I've never in my entire life ever had a waffle that was as good at the one I had here, chicken was spot on very well seasoned perfectly cooked. But that waffle came out of left field, so good that even being full I still ate it.The staff was friendly and prompt, our waitress made a mean Ceasar. Overall I would definitely recommend the experience, all the tunes were of my 90s era growing up.The atmosphere felt like being in the basement of your best friend's house, you know that friend that always had the coolest stuff. Yeah that friend, a great place to visit.
People always make the experience and our server Nicole was amazing. Going above and beyond and just being genuinely helpful in everything. The food was awesome and they have a great selection for both meat and vegetarian options. Highly recommend you have your next lunch or dinner here where you will get kind service and great food. Can I give 6 stars? Well deserving of it for sure!
The coop is a fun and laid back place to go, the music is always loud and takes you back in time! My kids love it here. My parents love it here. So it’s an easy pick if we are all going out.I’m a lover of all things taco and there’s do not disappoint! Also try the chicken and waffles, it’s such a tasty dish!
Got to try this spot during a business trip. The place is clean and have a very friendly staff. I ordered "Livin' on the veg" which was delicious! My only down side is it took around 45 minutes for it to come out, and I was so hungry that I forgot to take a photo of the burger. I came in around lunch time and the place wasn't busy, there was probably 2-3 other tables in at the time.
Edited: Thank you to Alanna for reaching out to me after writing this review. I appreciate a company who wants to do better and listens to concerns of their customers. We were there today for brunch. Pretty much everyone ordered the same things and yet the waitress was unable to get things straight. Received sides we didn't order. One appetizer came out early, the other one showed up much later. Mixed up orders, i received my main after almost everyone was done eating and one person in our party had to get her meal in a take-away box because she never received it all. Asked for extra gravy at one point and never received it. One person ordered a coffee and all she got was hot water. Waitress had to come by again to ask what we all ordered for the bills as she couldn't remember. Presumably she was new at the job but if that is the case do not put her on a party of 10 without someone overseeing her. Other than above the meals were lacklustre.
