Went here on a Saturday night and honestly I don't understand all the positive reviews; maybe we just got unlucky and came on an off night? The portions were expected for a tapas restaurant but the taste and quality just weren't there... then we got to the pulled pork sliders which were literally inedible. The meat was grey-looking and bland, almost tasted off. I don't understand how pulled pork could be prepared that poorly. Fortunately that was our last food order of the night so we just paid and left. Two stars for the cocktails being strong and for our server giving us free drinks after forgetting to put one of our orders in, but overall super disappointed.

We decided to check this restaurant out during the Taste of Burlington event on a Saturday night. They brought my partner’s started out 1/2 an hour before mine, then the server bought our desserts before the main course, realized her mistake and took it back. I ordered the pork paella, the pork chop was so hard it was difficult to cut, clearly had not been marinated or tenderized. The chicken linguine dish my partner (the chicken) was extremely dry. No apology for the mix up, no dedicated server for our table, just different servers coming up looking confused. Give the restaurant and it’s poorly cooked food a miss.

Good food but the service seriously needs some work. We were a table of 4 and ordered 3 appetizers (tapas) and 2 came out at the same time. Then 1 entree came, so we asked the server what happened to our third app since we assumed our other entrees were soon to follow. We were told the kitchen was very busy and it would be out shortly. It did come out about 5 minutes later.Everyone at the table still had food to eat, but it was about another 10 minutes before the second entree came out. At this point it was almost 15 minutes since the first entree had arrived and only half our table had their meals. 5 minutes later entree 3 came out, and another 5 minutes after that, entree 4 finally arrived as the first two members of our party were finishing their meals.I understand restaurant kitchens get busy on weekends, but this is something that should never happen in the restaurant business. There should never be 25 minutes between the first and last meals arriving at a table. At the absolute most, it shouldn't be more than 5 minutes. This shows really horrible planning by the kitchen staff and management. Our servers were also completely oblivious to how unacceptable this was and never even acknowledged how strange it was that they were clearing the plate of one guest immediately after bringing the meal of another guest at the table.A restaurant needs to be more than just good food.

An amazing finding, a gem :) I visited two nights in a row. Great food, super clean place and good service. Highly recommend.

No thanks. If we ever go back to some kind of normalcy, I will not support this establishment for its discrimination. Mandate or not. There are ways Word spreads.

We were looking for a good tapas restaurant and came across Barra Fíon in our search. Since they don’t take reservations and it was a Saturday night we showed up at about 6:15 PM and the place was already buzzing. We were immediately seated and our server, Marianne, was amazing. We ordered four or five items off the tapas menu and everyone of them were absolutely excellent! By 7 PM the place was packed. We loved the vibe at Barra Fíon, the outstanding service and the incredibly tasty food. We have every intention of returning sooner than later. Highly recommend!

The food was very good, and our servers made the night. Celebrated my birthday there, and already can't wait to go back!

Barra Fion is exceptional! We went last night to try one of their Taste of Burlington menus and were so impressed. The quality of their food is so good and the portions are very generous. The staff were so friendly and attentive and having live music was an added bonus to a lovely night out.
