We were passing through on our way to Niagara falls and on recommendations fron the reviews decided to try this restaurant. From stepping in, to the explanation of the specials, it was superb. I chose the pasta with seafood, but modified the combo, no problem. The food was piping hot and delish! The tiramisu that ended our meal was wonderful too. I'd definitely go back. Try it for a special occasion, you won't be disappointed.

When you walk in, you are greated by the beautiful smells of good quality food. The lights are low creating a romantic and cozy atmosphere. There are little strings of lights throughout that give it a soft glow. The place itself is beautiful, old school, Mediterranean feel.Staff: The staff are like a well oiled machine. Instead of the waiters/waitresses having their own sections, you had a primary worker but everyone else checked on you throughout the meal to make sure you were taken care of. Even the chef regularly came out of the back to greet the customers.Food: We sampled from all courses today and Oh My Lanta are we happy that we did. For the appetizer we shared some bruschetta. The bread was a perfect crispness. The tomato mixture was fresh. The parmesan cheese was fresh and high quality. The only thing that was missing was a bit of sweetness. I would love for there to have been a balsamic glaze. Otherwise it was a fresh and delicious start to the meal. For the main, we got Chicken parm. The chicken was cooked perfectly. It was crisp, beautiful and covered with cheese. I loved the addition of pesto to the top which gave great flavor. The pasta was fresh and the rose sauce was good. I just wish there was more of it because I do love me some sauce. For dessert, the bf convinced me to get Cheesecake. Oh my lanta am I glad that he did. It was light and creamy. The chocolate sauce and whipped cream went perfectly. It was a great finish to the meal.Overall, this is a great little spot to eat and I cannot believe I missed it all this time. Highly recommended!!!!!

I’ve been to Speekezzies a few times and I was always very impressed with it. The food was always amazing, the owner is always so friendly and has always accommodated reservations for me even during the pandemic for bdays or anniversaries he always made sure we were able to attend the restaurant! I have always recommended the restaurant and will continue to do so! It’s one of my favourite places to go! . The setting inside is beautiful, it’s a friendly place and you never feel rushed and leave full! Definitely a must go to restaurant!

My fiancé and I went to Speekezzies lastnight for my birthday. It was our first time there, my parents have been and recommended it to us. It was fantastic! I wish I took pictures of the food, it was delicious. The service was great, everyone was so friendly. The chef came out and greeted us and told us about the specials, he was super nice. My only regret is not getting the bruschetta trio special ?. Thank you for a great meal!
Amazing, unique, creative menu and scrumptious daily specials. Crafted with care and thought. Fine dining, but in an unpretentious, family owned establishment. Don't expect to rush in and rush out, they are busy, and it is very fresh cuisine, give them time! My favorite in Brantford..dare I say Ontario? Perhaps yes!
