The place is amazing! The food is good and the service. Nice management and staff. I am a regular and the staff has been attentive and detailed oriented. Appetizers were delicious and so was the main course. Our food was on time and delicous. Nice place to watch sports and spend time with family. One of the best managed places in Brantford.
We went for dinner with family. The steak was thin and didn't turn out to our expectations. Rest of the food was great. Asked for a manager who promptly responded and discounted the steak. He offered a remake or an alternative. We went for cordon blue at no extra charge. Really liked the cordon blue. Never had it before anywhere. It was really delicious. Overall the service was great unlike other restaurants that take time and resolve issue waiting for the customers to suffer. I would say, it is a great place to spend time with family, watch sports and have a nice food. I had a great time with delicious food at the restaurant probably the best in the brantford. 5 stars to management.
Worst experience ever! Made reservations for 25-26 people, had 22 show up. Only ones in the restaurant when we ordered, still waited just under 2 hours for our food. We had to go out and search for someone to find where our food was. In that same time people came, ate and left. When we got the food, some was good and some was horrible. Several things sent back and a few people ended up not eating because of how long it took.A person in the group asked to speak to the manager, who came to us hostile. We asked for some sort of compensation for the really bad experience and he said no. That we should support him because he is a struggling restaurant. If we didn’t pay our full bill he would call the cops. He escalated everything quickly with threats, volume and tone to which he approached us. We settled on a 20% discount. He told us never to come back (no worries there!). Then when everything was settled he made a point to come back and aggressively and condescendingly say “thank you for supporting our business”. I feel like the people in our party just wanted to be heard and he escalated everything instantly to the point where we were trying to calm him down and asking him not to yell at us.100% do not recommend.
The service was welcoming and had grate advice. The food was amazingand hit the spot. You have a TV at your both to whach your games on top of the big ones around the room.It was a lovely evening and will go the again.
Good new is the waitress we had is very friendly. Food is way overpriced and extremely small portions looked more like the kiddy menu. Asked for steak sandwich cooked medium was dry and tough served on a what appeared to be a dinner roll. Chicken fingers few and were tiny and overcooked. No one in our party was impressed or said they would return. Definitely will not go back or reccomend Shoeless Joe's to anyone.
This place is ok. It clams to be a sports bar but you have to ask them to put sports on the tv's. Expensive for average food too. Bar tender's lack experience and maturity as well.
I am an old guy. In the past I owned 10 restaurants from great franchisees and I know how difficult it is to accommodate people when the weather suddenly becomes so good and we have days. But the way I saw the manager today reminds me of me and a kind hearted person.
So this is what I am sending to shoeless Joes head office I am very sorry to bring you bad news but we had the worst experience at the Brantford location. We showed up on st.Patrick’s day 630 ish we were seated quickly, but that is where it went do hill. We had two youths with us as well. We wait over 20 minutes to speak to someone and we had to flag them down to get drinks. Apparently it was the manager. We had to wait an hour for are food. Flagg down the only server that did anything all night (blonde lady) she was the only person doing her job and doing the other 3 other girls jobs as well all night. Tables were covered in dirty dishes and she was the only one FULLY clearing them off.the other 4 grabbed the odd glass off the tables and walked by them 100 times. IT was not busy in any way. Each serve maybe had 3-4 tables. There were over 10 tables waiting for food. 2 tables got up and left I saw two tables wanting to speak to the manager and then they found out who he was,one who didn’t bother to do anything either all night. I saw numerous people turned away at the door, but it was okay to sit at the bar. We just about left after sitting there for 40 min. By then my kids were losing it and hungry. I felt like we were now stuck there. I had to flag the server down to pay the bill(the only lady in the place doing everyone else’s job)it was Over a hundred dollars and I didn’t leave a tip!!! There was absolutely nothing offered for the hour wait and we still had items missed from our order and my specialty drink we’re watered down. They did not taste as they normally would have. I would think because this was St.Patrick’s day one of the busiest bar nights of the year and my family enjoys having fun this day. I look forward going out for dinner this night every year. This just utterly routined the entire day. Unless there is a drastic change there I will not be going back again.
Never been much of a fan of this location but I have friends that like it for the GIANT TV, so I still find myself there from time to time TRYING to give it a chance.Prices are quite high for the quality & quantity of food but taste is usually average to above average.Last visit, I tried to order food from the 'Appy Place (after 9pm) section the Menu that THEY handed me, only to get "Sorry, we don't offer that menu at this location". ??♂️
Besides the great food, there are fantastic staff. I feel like stafd isn't appreciated as much. This is a restaurant that cares deeply about the guests and always aims to impress. I will continue to be a regular customer in house as well.as delivery. 10/10
