I had poutine and it was terrible. I didn't think someone could screw up a poutine but it was extremely dry with barely a speck of gravy anywhere! Also they were gritty like the potatoes weren't cleaned properly, I was crunching on sand. I wont order from here again.
When there for ice cream the other day like always good visit good food fest service for the price I paid for a large ice cream of three different kinds in one bowl for only 7 dollars or so the heaping amount is well worth it compared to anywhere else ...

Ordered a poutine and after eating most of it there was a long black hair at the bottom of the plate. Hair nets need to be worn at all times
First time eating here in a long time and I was pleasantly surprised. Great portion size and tasted very good as well. The desserts selection was great and freshly made daily. I will be back Photo is the cherry cheesecake bowl ?
I'm new to brantford and Lonnie's is AMAZING. Such a huge selection. Something for everyone for sure. You will be HAPPY every time. I really love the new girl Mikayla. All the staff is incredible and they work hard, so we should tip them well. Thanks for the fantastic 5 star service.Oh and I REALLY love fresh cut fries and the vegan gravy and cauliflower bites. Picked up one of their many specialty poutines for lunch. The price was reasonable but honestly it was too much for 1 person to eat. It was delicious, definitely going back to try another poutine when I am in Brantford.
This is a hidden Gem of Brantford, if you love the hole in the wall vibe and enjoy a fat man's food as much as I do this is a must. Great portion size and friendly staff.

I've lived in Brantford for 10 years now and used to always enjoy Lonnys and have good experiences, but unfortunately that is no longer the case. I'm not sure if it's new management or just changing ingredients to cut costs to keep prices low, but the place has taken a major dive in quality. Their bacon is absolute trash and that used to be a big selling point for me and the people I know. Its rock hard or just giant chunks of fat now. Extremely disappointing when you take a bite of poutine and think you are getting bacon, but it's a huge, nasty chunk of fat. Even in their ceaser wraps it's bad and can throw off the whole wrap. I ordered from them tonight and remembered their burgers being amazing years ago, well what I got tonight was disgusting. I ordered it with lettuce and tomato, didn't get either of those toppings but a second patty? And BOTH patties were a very gross consistency, most likely undercooked. It was the consistency of cat food or tuna. Like absolutely disgusting. Especially for being $6.99. One thing that is still good and I hope will always be good is their fries. The fries never disappoint, but from now on...if I'm ordering from lonnys it's just their fries...not chancing anything else from their menu. It's been really upsetting and disappointing because I used to recommend them to everyone...now I won't.
