It has been a couple years since I went to Goo's and sadly it did not live up to my memory.While the quantity you get for the price remains fairly generous, customer service and quality seems to have gone down hill.The older lady was fairly blunt and borderline rude. Not the first time others have mentioned her, clearly she should not be dealing with customers.We went in person and ordered our poutine during dinner hour. Surprisingly the place wasn't busy, but it looks like several take out orders were waiting for pickup. Our order was done within minutes of us ordering it. We took it home (7 minutes away), and found both poutine to be cold inside and out. Cold poutine was not appetizing at all and not worth the drive back to speak with the rude lady.
Craved a hotdog today. Paid over $10 for a hotdog. Could have bought around 2 dozen for that including buns. So what if they were foot longs. About a half hour later after eating only half I was violently ill puking up hotdog. Not even remotely worth the money or the agony. Don’t bother.
My family and I just moved down to Westbrant, and Goo's is only a couple of blocks from my home. Our first takeout order from Goo's was excellent and from then on we were hooked. There fish and chips are great, plus if you order anything with macaroni in it is fantastic!
Even though I had to wait 2 hours for my taco salad, not only was it the best one yet, it wasn't their fault for the delay. They were that busy because they're that good!! Keep it up Goo's!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We are new to the area and love getting some poutine, wraps and the rings! We have met the owner and he and his staff are very professional, clean and extremely efficient at getting orders out! Such a personable place that has many regulars, we will be returning as this was our second time!

Since moving to Brantford, I was repeatedly told to try this place. So I finally did. Food is terrific, goid sized portions, tasty, good selection. The main issue for me is the service from the older woman who works the counter/phones. She really needs to work on her people skills when interacting with customers. Far too brusk for good customet service, otherwise I'd be rating 4-5 stars for review.
I had never heard of chicken skins being served at a restaurant until I started coming here but I think it’s genius! Who doesn’t love chicken skins? The “cracklin” poutine with chicken skins is phenomenal. You can also get chicken skins on a burger or by themselves as a side. Crazy good!
How do I put this...we got a burger, poutine, and chicken sandwich. It was as though they took the normal amount of salt that would go in to all their other foods, added it only to the chicken, then served it. The chicken was so salty, it gave us both heart burn immediately. The other food was mediocre, at best. I don't know why they felt the need to over-salt that chicken, we both couldn't drink enough water to rehydrate our bodies.
AMAZING FOOD!!! I would totally recommend this place to anyone looking for some good greasy belly stuffing! Great portions amazing food and super nice welcoming crew behind the counter!! I will be returning ! It's nice to leave a restaurant feeling excited to go back and feeling like you found a jem. This did that for me. Great job goo's
