I would give a minus 5 if I could, food has always been tasty but service now stinks at a minus 5. Ordered from Skip and they didn't even accept order as they said they can't make it eve though they have made this for me many times before my health prevented me picking up order. Don't know if Mai (?) still owns the place but will never ever buy or recommend blessings or Skip for deliveries They didn't even wish to give my money back only a credit I want my money back not a credit. For take out be careful of both!
Just tried Blessings for the first time because of a referral. I hate to say this as it's a local family restaurant but I was just not impressed with the food. The quality isn't up to the standard I'm used to and I found the rice to be quite bland to be honest. I still gave 3 stars because the food wasn't terrible and the staff seemed friendly
Service here is often god aweful with hour+ long waits for pickup orders and very little communication about their menu, their very young kids are often working cash which I am convinced is a ploy for sympathy so people don't get mad about how often they are in the weeds.The food is very hit or miss, the stuff that's good can be very good and if everything was that quality it's be worth the wait, but the stuff that isn't is often cold, tasteless or greasy.
Good food, bit of a wait with the covid rules but worth the wait.
Very slow and ineffecient staff. They open just 5 hr and will make you wait for 1-2 hr for order.Snail can be faster than these guys.
I’m new to the Brantford area and was recommended this place… it was terrible! Ordered on New Year’s Eve and they were so busy which could have added to their stress in cooking but honestly the worse Chinese food I’ve ever eaten! The chicken wings were over friend and rock hard… it couldn’t be eaten! Fried rice was bland, chicken balls weren’t even balls but long battered pieces of chicken and were ok… honestly it was expensive and a huge let down. The customer was good but I would NEVER go back! I don’t like posting bad reviews especially for family business but this place was awful.
First time ordering from Blessings using SkiptheDishes. The food was hot, tasted great and order was accurate. We will defintely order again.
Big miss, avoid spend the 20 mins driving up to Hamilton for August 8 or spring sushi. Very unprofessional and kids with little to no knowledge. Asked the kid what’s the most order sushi his response was “we have a lot sushi”
For years I've driven from Paris to Brantford for what I considered to be the best Chinese food around. I even forgave the mistakes missed dishes in the last half dozen orders. Last night was no exception. Forgot the sauces and missed one dish on our order. And this time the food was not up to par. Pork in the fried rice was cooked a day or 2 ago. Chop suey was bland. Not giving up yet but.....
The food is substandard at best. The people who run this place are extremely rude!! They have even rolled their eyes when we complained that our order was completely wrong!! Not once have they been able to get our order right!! We asked for soya sauce and they gave us one package and waved us out the door!! Disgusting food and very rude owner and staff!! We won't be going back!! Save your money!!
