We hosted a dinner party that was reserved in advance. There were two servers for a party of 38 people. The dinner started at 5:30 pm and we started getting meals at 9 pm. Everything was late and the orders were all done in confusion. When we complained the server said next time it’s better to come as a small group and the food will be on time and taste better.

Bright, friendly, clean, large open layout. The food is fantastic! Great to see these days for Brampton. They don't cut corners, they provide great service, very welcoming. They are helpful, and generous - making me feel ver comfortable.

Xaymaca was a good culinary experience. We had various meals from the appetizer plate to curry shrimp. The fried chicken and the ribs were delicious. The music created a enjoyable ambiance and the staff were very friendly. If you are in a rush, this may not be the place for you, but the food was well worth the wait. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Brampton area.

This was my first time at this restaurant. Went here with my wife for a date. Upon arrival I was impressed by the overall vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant. Very elegant and chill. The service was amazing as my server was kind. The menu wasn't confusing and the food prices were great. We had some apps and ribs. All items were presented well and were very tasty. Would definitely recommend. Great place for a date or hanging out with friends. This is not your typical Jamaican restaurant. Definitely a cut above the rest.

If you're looking for authentic Jamaican food with flare, then I highly recommend that you visit Xaymaca Restaurant. Deserving of 5+ rating, they have exceeded my expectations with customer service, restaurant ambiance and food.Food made and plated with love, my favourites from their menu include the grilled jerk salmon w/mango salsa and white rice. The salmon was cooked to perfection. Also loved the jerk chicken spring rolls, fried plantain and red pea soup as appetizers. My server Ashley was knowledgeable, attentive and very friendly. I'm looking forward to another visit and trying her dessert recommendations - rum cake!

The food was not good; I ordered the oxtail dinner and paid $19+ only to receive a half bowl of rice ( which was quite hard). They literally gave me 3 pieces of oxtail and a quarter container of Macaroni salad . I am not happy at all. This is why it's best to just stay home and cook your own food. I will not be returning.

Tasty food

The place is clean, has a nice little vibe and the staff is friendly.I had chicken soup and jerked chicken spring rolls for appetizers. I had the jerked chicken pasta. The soup that day tasted like a well-made traditional jamaican chicken soup. It was really good. I loved the spring rolls as well. The jerked chicken pasta was ok. The chicken wasn't the traditional jamaican jerked chicken, so that brought down its marks.Overall, the experience was good and I would go again to try other dishes.

Food was good. Presentation really nice. Price also decent. Jerk is not smoky or flavoured like how it is done on the streets of Jamaica but it was still delicious.

Amazing food, great service. Very authentic Jamaican food. Food also comes out at perfect temperature and timing. Bar tenders have very pleasant manner and very nice to speak to. Vibe is great. Order anything it all tastes amazing.
