I just wasted $21 on lamb biryani and juice, this place is a disgrace in the name of student biryani because the biryani they served me was actually lamb curry anyone that knows Pakistani food knows the difference because lamb cooked in biryani is dry not oily and taste like curry spices it was lamb curry mixed with the biryani rice to cut corners just to maximize the profit, you guys charge so much money for food because of the name at least serve people what you charge them for! Im adding the photo aswell so it can cleary show what im talking about never coming back to this location
Today I visited this place on May/10/22 to try student biryani. I look at the pictures on the wall it looks so good, so I decided to order chicken biryani, as I received the food I tasted the biryani, it just test like Normal fried rice without any flavour and having potatoes and chicken inside with no flavour. Even it doesn’t have any khada masala and fried onion. As compared to student biryani silver spoon is much much better place to visit. Even the price of silver spoon is also cheap. So I didn’t recommended any one to visit this place student biryani. Anybody like flavourless biryani they can visit this place.
Before trying out food at any new restaurant I always check the review. I was very shocked to see the recent reviews for this place. However, the merchandising / all the food images displayed on the windows gave me a different feeling. For the 1st time in many years, I decided to ignore the reviews and give it a try. I wasn’t wrong going with the intuition. This place is one of the most hygiene place you will find in Brampton area. The store was so clean that you felt good. I tried their most sold item Chicken Biriyani and it was very delicious. They are one of the rare restaurants who provide Aloo (potatoes) in their biriyani. Quantity was good and I would say the price is value for money. I will definitely come back to try other biriyani dishes next time I’m visiting the area.
Food was much better when they first opened. Recipe has changed. Still a new restaurant but dirty now. No id or vaccine check for dine in. Got spoiled raita. Biryani was ok but not the same as when it opened. Seems like owners changed.Told the girl that the fridge isn’t working where they keep the drinks and raita and she replied yea everything warm. The open sign isn’t even on. Just no care anymore. Sad because when this place first opened up it was amazing
Mayo garlic role with no mayo garlic and plain boiled rice in the name of biryani. Packed with white colored water claimed as raita.Thick cheap oil and grease on all the food items.
I have ordered the tandoori briyani, It was delicious and mouth watering, Even the service was excellent and super fast. One another thing, they was a girl named Ramanpreet she served me very well. So I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Extremely disappointed behari kabob completely burnt to a crisp seek kabob old and dried out nihari was old and tasteless Naan was only quarter usable the other 3 quarters were completely rock hard and to top it all off the service was terrible and would not help in any way
As the name says Student Biryani, origin would have been small and most economical for students to afford..Not sure if they are maintaining Authentic taste from thier olden days, but biryani tastes good and different from other regular biryani places around.. Like KFC buckets for fried chicken pieces, these guys have BIRYANI BUCKETS which makes it unique..They also have lot other menu items to choose from, but haven't got chance to taste lot of items.. Chicken samosa, biryani, garlic mayo fries, BBQ rolls and Kids meal are nice and worth trying!!!! ENJOY!!
Food is good. It was very delicious. Store is clean. Staff is friendly. Prices are little higher but I guess due to covid it is ok
Tried Student Biryani the first time today for lunch. Ordered the Haleem and Tandoori roti as well as the BBQ Biryani. Well presented and clean restaurant with comfortable seating for families and groups. The staff is courteous and efficient. The food was piping hot, fresh and well flavoured. The Haleem was delicious and the BBQ Biryani was served with boneless chicken and a Seekh kebab. The portions are generous and shareable for a group. Will definitely be coming again. Keep up the good standards guys??????
