I don’t want to leave any star but what a waste of time to go there for shopping. They don’t have any plastic bucket for customers and if you don’t have cash you can’t get anything for shopping. Kid outside handling carts was even wanna fight with me. What a shame for losing all money for $1 cart to unlock for an hour. Like all other locations they just unlocked for you. This kid in picture was very aggressive even looking to start a fight
Many a times come across such kind of garbage vegetables (see pic).Please don't waste your money buying cheap quality vegetables from this store.
I don’t normally write complaints above my bad experience at a store, but this one experience was had me even days later livid…I was at this location (Queen street Brampton)on Saturday June 11per usual it was busy check out lines were long. Not wanting to wait in those long lines and after counting our items in our cart (12 items along with a case of Allen drinks) we determined that we can cash out through the self checkout, upon entering the self checkout line and approaching a terminal the line manager associate looked down into the cart said in a very rude tone that we had more than 15 items ( which is the Max.) and the case of Allen juice it self was 12 on its own… I explained to her that we had two transactions, the case of drink I would be paying for at one terminal while the other 12 items was my sisters items which she would be purchasing at another terminal, she proceeded to tell us we are not allow to split our orders up. I was annoyed because we could have to do the same thing at the regular registers has these transactions where separate just sharing the same cart! Has I proceed to take my case of Allen juice out of the buggy to make my purchase she rudely comment that “I guess you don’t know how to read” I could not believe my ears, A customer service representative telling a paying customer that they cannot read! I was taken aback, shock, embarrassed because like I said it was busy and she wasn’t quiet with it she was loud and it. After the shock wore off I preceded to ask her how dare she speak to me like that, and explain to her that work in retail for over 15 years and I could not in my wildest dreams tell a customer that even if the thought cross my mind, working for one of the biggest retailer in Canada that pride themselves on customer service I would have been in fear of termination. During my rant she had the nerve to tell me to SHUT UP! And she was not quiet with it either. At that point I just wanted to cash out and get out of that store. I can tell by the reaction of other associates this is the Norm, she was too comfortable with that Rude And Disrespectful behaviour. Side note: I wanted to price match tomatoes from another retailer (Walmart) and the girls that were at the customer service desk which was next to the terminal I was using refuse to do the transaction, they told me I would have to rejoin the regular checkout line because price match couldn’t be done at self checkout, even though in the past I’ve had them print my transactions out and complete the price match and rest of transaction at the return desk…so I know it was BS.All in all I will not be spending my money at that location, I’ll drive the extra kilometres to the next location. Big Time Disappointed.
Dirty store (there is ususlly food on the ground and shelves), large lineups and you can see the cashiers standing around talking instead of at the cashes (not on break either, they're usually bickering about breaks or a coworker who is taking too long on break or something). Only good thing, they have decent prices on things and some of the best prices on toilet paper and paper towel.
Wow large store with excellent products. Fast checkout with self serve lanes. Excellent convenient location.
Big store, bright, clean. Disappointed ? that I had to REQUEST paper towels, to sanitize cart handle and hands prior to entering, however the young man did return with a package of antibacterial wipes and apologized for inconvenience. Otherwise, great selection, good prices keep me coming back. Recommend this store.
I've always liked shopping here, it's clean, some of the staff have become friends, the pharmacy looks after my mom very well, explaining about her drugs.I've moved from Brampton and miss this store.Keep up the good work, and thanks for looking after my mom.
Short tempered and dumb staff at self checkout, went with my friend on last visit ,so we were sharing a cart to shop, but staff was soo adamantly forcing to use separate carts even though we did individual billing with separate membership cards and separate payment.There were barely any customers in the store at that time,There were no COVID restrictions to prevent customers from sharing carts.Manager could not deescalate the issue ,instead shouting at both customers which is soo unprofessional.
Wanted to use the self check-out. There were no other customers using them. We had a little more than the recommended 15 items and were told we had to line up at a cashier. Made no sense and they would not listen to reason. Left all our items there and left. No customer service there!!
Always vegetables and fruits section is messed up. Customers should take care and put unwanted things back to its normal position. Everything can't be expected from management. Rest all is good
