Must try in Brampton! Just be sure to bring cash as they are a cash-only business, very reasonably priced. The grilled burgers really do taste deliciously like charcoal, banquet burgers (with bacon) are always a good choices. The toppings are all fresh and delicious. Fries are decent. We always leave Sonny's full and happy.
Friendly and fast service. Portion size is decent. No seating indoors but there's three picnic tables outdoors or sit in your car. Enjoy ?
Always a treat to visit, and I'm one to complain about no debit transactions but when your hungry for Sonny's you let that slide... There is a bank machine on sight that will cost you $2.99 on the spot plus bank fees with your branch...this visit was as usual a pleasant experience, although the burger prep guy seemed to be very grumpy even to his staff... Food is artery clogging and fast, what more can you ask for... Oh ya... Great value for the price/food portions... I saw another photo posted with Russel Peters and the Sonny's staff as well... Sonny's is a favourite staple in Brampton, always worth a visit...
Ordered a cheeseburger, fries and apple pie. The service was fast and very friendly. Lots of fresh toppings available and the bun was toasted. The cheeseburger was very good with a hit of charcoal flavour. The fries were crisp but retained a lot of oil. So it started tasting heavy. All together, it was a great experience and will come back again.
When I first moved closer to Sonny's, I had never had one of their burgers and so I decided to treat myself. I have got to say it was one of the best if not the best burger I had in my life. I liked it so much I remember even meeting the owner to tell him how incredible the burgers are! I definitely recommend Sonny's to anyone in the Brampton area
Went back after a few years and wasn't too thrilled. Got the Banquet burger as usual....Burgers really don't have as much flavor as i remember. Lots of other burger joints now with better options at the same price. Service is always top notch and quick. Kids loved their poutine. Maybe will try again in the Sumner months
Best burger and fries burger is so juicy and tasty bacon is cooked perfectly by far the best I’ve ever had my dad used to go here as a kid ! Very good gravy all there food is amazing ! 5 star service !
Sonnts has been servicing Brampton area for over 45 years as I can remember coming here since xe u was a teenager and that was over44 years ago. Sonny's has always had great food at reasonable prices.. i only wish they would return to.their regular hours now that covid restrictions are starting to relax as we try to get back to the days before we had to deal.with this civid pandemic. Great food, great prices, fresh condiments, excellent home made fries with a gravy to die fur. Once you taste Sonny's you will always go back again and again. Excellent friendly staff and you are treated as royalty as well. Worth your time and a visit to eat at Sonny's Burgers..
The place looked super hygienic and clean. Everyone was super nice as well. The burger was the disappointment sadly. The beef was not cooked to be juicy, it just tasted like a slab of meat. Hard to describe, but you'll know what I mean if you eat it.
Haven't been here in years. Ordered steak on a kaiser. Definitely more kaiser and toppings than steak. Bun in not a true kaiser. Fries are a good size serving. Wouldn't rush back but ok for a quick meal.
