We’ve been customers for over 20 years, and this is our favourite Hakka restaurant. The owner and staff are very hard working and kind. The food is always delicious. My favourites include egg creamy corn soup, Manchurian beef, lemon chicken, and crispy fried noodles with vegetables.Thank you for always serving delicious food and for your kind service. Looking forward to being a loyal customer for many more years.
I drove 25 min one way only to find out that I couldn't pay using MasterCard for my order. They will only accept cash, visa or debit. When I asked "why didn't you inform me when I spoke to you on the phone?" The lady replied "it's the customer's job to ask". ?? Then another one advised me to use my MasterCard across the street at shoppers drug mart to pull out cash from the ATM. So not only will I need to pay the $3 service fee, but also will get charged hefty interest on the cash withdrawal. Thanks, but no thanks. I ended up going to burger King down the street for a quick meal instead. ?
I have been coming to this place since high school. I love their manchurian paneer, chilli chicken and hakka noodles. The staff is great. It’s not a fancy restaurant but the people and food is great.
We have been customers for over 20 years so it's sad for me to share this review. The food has been consistently good and staff has been nice so this has been our Hakka go to. However today for the first time, we didn't like one of the dishes we ordered. The eggplant was too firm and was not edible. I figured I would simply call and ask them to give me the same dish next time at no cost. So I called them and the woman on the phone refused to accept that the dish was not good. She said no one has ever complained and demanded that I bring the food back for her to inspect. It's winter and we were not prepared to drive all the way back for this and it really saddened me that after 20 years of loyalty that this woman couldnt take my word for it. We have no reason to lie and we were all surprised that she would risk losing a valued customer over the cost of one dish. I hope they will think twice next time a customer complains and give them the benefit of the doubt. As a business owner you really should keep especially long time customers happy. We will be looking for a new Hakka place. Goodbye Singapore Gardens.
We ordered 95 dollars worth of food yesterday and it was by far THE WORST so called “Chinese “ food we have ever eaten or at least tried to eat. Our chicken fried rice had a strange smell to it, also tasted like fish, as if it were probably cooked in the same wok they cooked fish in. The chicken balls were not fried or crispy, they were absolutely soggy and raw in the middle. There was no significant taste between both general tso and orange chicken. Last but not least the vegetable rolls were disgusting, soggy and full of grease. Nothing about the food here is authentic Chinese at all. I called to complain about the service and there was no apology, there we not willing to fix the situation even when I wanted to return the food back. Instead she asked if it was our first time eating there and I replied yes it was, she arrogantly said well this is the style in how we make it. Wow!! Well never again, I am urging people to not order anything from this place, you will be deeply disappointed. Oh did I mention I placed the order at 5:30 and was only able to pick it up at 7:45 ? Horrible service, I do not recommend this place.

Let me start of by saying the staff here is very nice. Polite and everything. I've been here very often. The only thing is that I when ever I order food in advance (well in advance, 3 hours to a day) it never fails that I have to wait 15-20 minutes after the designated pick up time for my order.Food is great, maybe just work on your timing.
This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants been coming here for years they never disappoint. Food is always fresh & tasty staff is amazing. ?
