Chill spot. Good decor and vibes.Food took an hour to come out though and the jerk chicken poutine + pepper shrimp were not tasty nor worth the price.I understand they were busy and kitchen was backed up that night so I’ll give them another chance and eat there again.
Incredible restaurant. I held a dinner party here last night, and I have nothing but good things to say.First, the food was incredible. I had the Pasta Alfredo. When I was ordering, my server suggested that I add jerk chicken to it. Excellent suggestion. Easily one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had.Regarding my server, she was very polite, knowledgeable, and did everything she could to ensure that my guests and I had a great experience.Lastly, the owners were very kind to us, and fulfilled all our seating and dietary requests.Highly recommend this place whether you’re dining alone, or with other guests. Great service, great food, and a great atmosphere.If I could give it a 6 out of 5, I would.
The food was good but the customer service from the staff and manager was unpleasant.I went there with a few friends. We frequent this establishment. There were only 3 other people in the restaurant at the time of our arrival. We ordered an appetizer which took an abnormally long time to arrive and was cold - still a very empty restaurant. We spoke to the waitress about it who said she was going to speak to the manager. That didn’t happen until the end of the our visit - 4 hours later. We then waited 1 hour for our bill. No one told us that they were experiencing computer issues.When we approached the waitress, about simple customer skills, she rudely apologized as though to shut us up. Then the manager said that they don’t split bills and made it seems as though it was our fault for the computer problem.*if the waitress or the manager approached our table to let us know the establishment is no long splitting bills we could have problem solved (e-transfer). *#1 rule in the customer service industry is: make the customer feel heard - total fail last night.Hopefully their customer service skills improve.Would not recommend eating here. Take it to go.
Absolutely love this restaurant!The food is absolutely amazing, the service is amazing, the vibe is always on point, and better yet it’s black owned.Had my birthday dinner here recently and it was a party of at least 17 and they handled us all amazingly! Service was amazing, they always made sure we were okay and taken care of, & the food of course did not disappoint.100% recommend this restaurant!
Fries burnt & turkey bacon was charcoled. All to be asked, well what do you want me to do about that by the cook. Ha.At first this establishment was was so lovely to eat at especially knowing its black owned. But now I will pass and take off running.Not to mention there always seems to be attitude when you mention an error. I kept returning hoping for that same experience I remember but I understand that's not the case.This place is still just for the purposes of watching a game and having a drink. Other than that this was not worth my drive from Toronto.Save your money on the overpriced garbage
My friends and I have been going here for years. Evidently that means nothing to the female owner. Went last night, waited an hour for our bill. She spoke down to us and told us that other restaurants don't split bills other than evenly. Epic fail. She's mad. Done with this place. Support local business indeed, but learn a thing about customer service. Makes sense why the servers are never the same. If she speaks to customers, imagine how the staff are treated...ironic as well since the same thing she told us they're not going to do, aka split bills, has been happening for years. New server charged my friend, a vegetarian, for bacon. Hope all the upcharges were worth it.
Worst bar in the city! I liked the decor, vibe and amount of TVs in the bar. But it was tremendously bad at basic waitress knowledge. Like when we ordered drinks and our drink became empty, the waitress would continue to pass our table without refills. A waitress even dropped someone else’s utensils on our table and continued walking as if it never happened. We ordered an appetizer of nachos and waited 45mins to never receive them, while others who showed up after us would get their full meal before us. We ended up asking them to take the nachos off the bill and that we would just pay the tab and leave. I think the staff needs to work on satisfying the customers needs and making sure their stay is welcomed n meets expectations. Overall would not recommend and will never go there again.
This bar is not what was expected I was blown away at the decor and fine establishment but the service really sucked I couldn't get a refill on my coke let alone all my boys not getting drinks we ordered nachos and they took 45 minutes and still didn't arrive
Great service and great food! The food is pretty reasonably priced as well. Took this picture mid-way through my meal but pretty decent portion.
Very good prices and food options and the food is great vibes are nice and place is very clean!
