Main issues with this location is the lack of effective communication which results in poor customer service. This has been my personal experience while visiting the location. You ask questions which never get answered because the person you ask either does not speak much English, or is just not aware of what goes on in the store. I would be willing to use Google translate to communicate with the individuals but the interactions I have had were quite dismissive, for example, I pose a question and because of the language barrier they will just say "no speak English," then walk away. This is very frustrating.My recommendation to Oceans is to utilize team debriefing to enlighten staff about what is happening in the store. Have English Speaking staff available at the customer service desk to answer questions. Train staff to treat customers with dignity and respect.
Yesterday I bought Pom fish. It was too old and smelling bad. I have thrown it. Be careful before purchasing fish from Oceans :(.
Make sure not to buy the pre packed fresh meat mentioning so called "Special Offers" where you will end up getting meat on top and bottom full of useless bones. There's a counter where you can choose and they will cut and give them.
It has the most reasonable price on vegetables. You can get any type of seafood here. The staff is also very helpful. Everything is very fresh.
The flyer price and the in-store prices are never the same. The staff is as dumb as a rock. One of the employees wasn't sure if she was allowed to sell me a reusable bag or a plastic bag after I purchased my items. I guess she thought I was going to carry all my items on my head or in my hands

Using broom dipped over and over again in live fish tank to mop walls! Pure filthy insanity and absolutely disgusting. Stay away for the sake of you and your loved ones. They seriously need to be reported to Peel Health Inspections for endangering people's health.
I have been shopping at this place for years but recently I was so turned off. I bought some cashews, $15 worth, but while eating it I kept coming up on some that tasted horrible. It’s hard to describe the taste but it was awful. I did some research and I found out that there have been some complaints about the cashews tasting of pesticide. I tried to return it but they refused. They were also quite casual about the health of the consumer. This is a public health issue. Something like this should not be taken so lightly. I will be looking to shop elsewhere. I am voting with my money.
I love this store, it is very clean and tidy. The vegetables are always fresh and the staff are very friendly. I will definitely be going back.
Good pricing and lots of options for Canadian, Asian and Indian groceries. Fruits and vegetables are not of great quality but fresh to consume within 2 to 3 days. No credit cards, only cash and debit.
