I have major concerns about there food handling and safety,Purchased 2 pack of hans kheer today along with whole lot of groceries. Opened the pack after reaching home only to find mold grown-up in both containers, and to my surprise both have 1 month expirie untill july 11, this could easly give you food poisoning, as far as my experience with food industry , i believe improper refrigeration and carelessness could be the reason
1. Cashier super rude2. They dont take debit card and neither do they inform customers beforehand, you waste time in shopping and then rude cashier tells you they dont accept debit card they force you to use credit card or cash happened with me twice, not sure if thats the case every time as I mostly use credit card but its ridiculous since they have kind of monopoly over the local market so you have no other choice but to go there, its high time they start respecting customers. Disappointed
One of the worst restaurant in Brampton. I don’t even know how they are into food business. Recently I bought their chatt papdi and it is very unpleasant to taste. I had sore throat after eating papdi. They claim their sweets are fresh but i had stinking shakkar- para.
One of the best place to buy Indian groceries in Meadowvale area. The store has plenty of local items. If you are looking for something which you can not find anywhere. Do visit this place as it is full of grocery items.There is restaurant in the store and you can try out food, snacks and sweets.
Worst experience low quality good and above average price, found fungus on the cake that I bought today. They have a lot of products, friendly staff and everything but quality of food products are terrible.
Very big Indian grocery store with various variety of Indian fruits and vegetables. Produce we find here is really fresh. And you can find all the Indian groceries. You don't have to hunt for anywhere else for Indian groceries. Everything is available at one place. Another thing I wanted to add is they serve freshly prepared authentic Indian food . That is worth trying.
I really had a very very bad experience yesterday from this store. I am from Kerala and my college is in Nova Scotia and I’m here in Brampton since my classes are online. It was the first time I visited this store and also the last time. I purchased a Diet Coke and a kesar drink and I made the payment. I booked a cab and when it was about to come , I checked out and left the store. But the cab got canceled due to some reasons and I had to book another cab. Since it was too cold out, I tried standing on the main entrance but since people were coming and going again and again it was still cold out there. So I went inside again and spent some time over there looking at North Indian stuffs because for me there were many things , that was kinda new. And when I got the notification from Lyft that my cab driver has reached, i tried coming out through exit. I don’t know why, a guy working over there without any provocation came to me and asked for my cover in my hand and told he need to check it. For a moment, I was still and did not know what to respond. He checked my bag and found nothing. He went through the bill and just went away by telling a sorry( even not in a polite way) I have been to many stores here in Canada and this made me really feel embarrassed . I was also sales floor associate in Walmart, and no stores or employees behave to the customers in this way. I really hate the experience and if the store is hiring employees like this, without understanding customer Satisfaction and customer preference, it’s a big loss. Thank u so much!
This is a nice and convenient location to buy Indian grocery at good price. The only regret I have with them is - not even once the RED ONIONS were good (20%of big bag is always bad). I just regularly go here so it easy for me to buy it all together. This place is usually crowded and the variety/inventory is always maintained.
