Been to this place many times and have never been disappointed, fries are golden brown and crispy unlike most fish and chip places I've beenHands down best fish and chip and recipe hasn't changed which is good! Staff are super friendly and I recommend this place to anyone
Do not order from here! Firstly, they had a buy 1, get 1 free, advertised on Uber Eats, yesterday. They did not honor that advertisement! Secondly, the halibut and scallops were very greasy and gross. The worst fish and chips that I have ever tasted. Over priced for gross food. Highly recommend that you stay away from this place!
It’s all batter and barely any fish inside it. When you spend on a meal and are still hungry you know something is wrong with it. Nothing with the staff friendly and courteous but not going there again due to the quantity of the food.Response to the owner: doesn’t matters if the batter is think or thin the fact remains there’s barely any fish underneath. You expect customers to fill their stomach with 10 pounds of fries that comes with it. Your Halibut fish with fries costs $21 & some cents I understand prices have gone up with several factors but you have an issue when you’ll have to start telling your customers better place an order twice as just one order won’t give you enough fish. Just horrible
My family is from the east coast Nova Scotia, where fresh fish is plentiful but this place is hands down the best fish and chips I ever had!! We got it on a whim but I am MORE than impressed! Down to the French fries it was the best meal I had in a long time.
Excellent food, Fantastic Customer Service, and we have been going there for over 2 years!The food is good portion sized, tastes amazing - the fish is nice and moist and not dried up.We have placed orders with them and they have always been ready with no problems at all.Definately a must and we love the food!
The staff was 'over the moon' helpful and fun to talk to. We had some work business to do over dinner and they made our dinner fast, delicious and enjoyable. Afterwards we enjoyed coconut pie and coffee for dessert. The place is very very clean and covid protocols are followed strictly. One of my fave places to visit
Horrible customer service, placed an order for over $100.00 and asked for plum sauce instead of tarter and the manager insisted on charging extra for this sauce as if we didn’t just spend over $100.00 here. Manager needs a lesson in how to treat paying customers.
They don't make their own tartar sauce.... instantly bad. Its hard to mess up fish and chips and most places are the same with a few exceptions. The main way to make yourself stand out is with a killer tartart sauce, and anyplace the uses packaged one gets a negative review from meEdit: The owner clarified they do make their own sauce, my mistake for not knowing this. I will visit soon to try it out!
The fish was very oily, halibut was dry, fries had little to no seasoning, definity don't get the burger. Only poutine was good. sad I won't be going back.
Haddock was excellent - just the right amount of grease. Reminds me of fish and chips from the UK. Fries were good but could have been crispier. Fast service.
