The food tastes good and they give big portions which is great. However, recently I ordered Vegetable Hakka noodles, but all of the Bok Choy wasn't washed properly. I noticed one of them had dirt at the bottom of the stem, and when I opened it up, it had a dead bug inside.I understand mistakes happen but please make sure to wash all veggies properly; not just a quick rinse. it's very off-putting to see this in your food, especially from a restaurant.
Hakka noodles are very good. Fried rice was decent. Lemon chicken was horrible. I was expecting the lemon chicken dish to be cut up into tiny pieces layered in sauce (the traditional way). Instead I received enormous whole chicken thighs that were over fried and almost impossible to bite into - with lemon sauce on the side. I’ve never seen this in my life. Never again.
Very good food very good service always efficient and lots of food per serving.Always on time,I recommend these restaurants in this time of inflation where we can help each other with small businesses in Ontario given the circumstances that our Government is putting our restaurants through.Hope you guys read my review and help each other throughout this never ending pandemic.
I've ordered their lunch special for a very reasonable price $9.6 tax included. The portion was big, and food was delicious!Well done guys!
I ordered takeout through Uber. It was really good! One of the better places for Hakka. I ordered chicken chilli with fried rice. The portion was very big and enough for two people.
Came here many times before. The portion sizes are huge and the food is reasonably priced. We always enjoyed the food every time. However, found a hair in the hakka special noodles attached firmly - there is no way it just fell in - to the chicken this most recent time :/ Hopefully, it was a one time incident but don't think I would be able to eat here again without thinking about it
Guyanese style fried rice is delicious but they forget the pepper on the uber eats delivery order. Otherwise I would give 5 stars. Always need extra pepper with fried rice.
Hadn't had Hakka food for 6 months and was craving it, so the family decided to order a large take-out from here last weekend. Kids wanted mango chicken and chicken Singapore noodles, plus we ordered hot garlic shrimp, chili chicken, manchurian eggplant, beef with mixed veg, and yang chow fried rice with chicken and shrimp.I always seem to need a reminder of why I dislike doing a takeout from this place: MSG overload. Plus, the breading on the shrimp was huge - which made it very oily. The chili chicken dry was okay while fresh, and same with the eggplant manchurian. The beef with veggies was decent tasting. The Singapore noodles were bland and tasteless, and the fried rice had bits of chicken that tasted like cartilage. The leftovers were worse on Day 2. The two stars are for huge portion sizes and value for money, but I'd be willing to pay more for better food.Brampton needs better Hakka choices.
Purchased spicy chicken Hakka noodles. My biggest issue with restaurants is when they charge a "premium" for a dish with meat, however almost the whole dish is noodles. This is what I went through at this place. I may try again and buy just meat, however if you are buying a noddle dish, expect above 90% of the dish being noodles. Good luck
The food was amazing ? so fresh and tasty
