Going to one of the family who raves all the time about GCC and we were headed there and decided to treat them with what they like. Although they eat non veg we were having all vegan today.Veggie Manchow Soup (3/5) - very different from everything we have had. But still good. Nice spice level.Veggie Fried Rice (2/5) - as with all Brampton Hakka restaurants they use basmati rice as well and we don’t like basmati in Hakka cuisineVeggie Manchurian Balls (1/5) - Very disappointed with our favourite Hakka dish. The sauce very different and balls too mushy. The sauce just had some hit but very flavourlessHot Garlic Tofu (2/5) - Lacked garlic. Just pieces of tofu, in a spiced red coloured sauce and hardly any garlic.Chilli Mixed Veg (2/5) - all the mixed veggies in a similar sauce as above just brown in colour.Veg Noodles (2/5) - Good and quantity and still no flavour. Wish it was more spice and some more seasonings.Truly disappointed.
Food is good but customer service is horrible and unprofessional. Was waiting over 25 minutes for my noodles with no one waiting, heard cookers in the kitchen yelling and singing out loud making it a unpleasant experience. Secondly, when asked for a large cup of hot sauce the lady took out the smaller hot sauces and told me you can only have either or not both. I've never had that experience before until the new hires who seem to have no customer service and making up their own rules as they go. I paid 13 dollars for noodles and they're making a big fuss for extra hot sauce packs which would cost them cents. Thinking of finding another Hakka store after my experience.
Used to love this place. Szechuan veggie noodles here is out of this world. Ordered some kung pao chicken and dragon chicken. Both were identical flavour - extremely sour. Maybe heavy on vinegar. Not sure.More upsetting was that it is all halal now. Recently certified they said. Apparently customers were asking for it. The place always had huge lineups so I’m not sure why the sudden change. And it’s not even offering halal options. For those who can’t/don’t eat halal there are no options. They have not mentioned this anywhere. Not at the location. Not on the website. If you didn’t ask you wouldn’t know. I guess we Need to look for a new place. thank you for having served some delicious dishes over the years.
The lunch specials are awesome portion size and tastes good. I especially like more gravy which they offer. Also the chicken used is very soft and never smells as compared to other stores. Keep it up!

Never had a bad experience, greatest chili chicken I've found. Food is consistent, fair price. Chili chicken with noodles, sometimes dry, sometimes with gravy
These guys use to be very good back in days. Tried there Chilli Chicken today after long time, omg, tasted nothing like Chilli Chicken :( ... Wata waste of money. Will never order from there again...
My last order from them was for 6-7 dishes but later on found that two of them named differently in the menu were actually the same...only difference was the sausage...this was not expected as everytime I used to order from them... will try someone else as substitute now. So ? ? ? are enough for now.
Love the pineapple chicken fried rice, chinese chicken biryani and hot and sour chicken soup. Highly recommended!
Best chilli fish in town!!! Been coming here for years. They have great sauce for the chilli fish, and their hakka noodles are also tasty.
