I’m seeing all of these reviews about a manager and i’m not sure if i talked to the manager but it was an asian boy around his 20s. He was very rude when saying they didn’t have drinks and i waited at least 15 minutes before i asked for my drink, and he said that they’re low staffed when he handed it to me. There were at least 4 other people with bigger orders that got theirs before me. He was extremely unprofessional and rude. This happened a few days ago. i don’t think i’ll be returning
I read other peoples reviews and wanted to say that they are spilling facts. I don't know how they pass the provincial or municipal guidelines. The manager was always rude to me because I was not Asian. They treated me so bad that I couldn't even stay there for 3 months. Everything that the owner and manager doing is illegal. Their sanitary is poor, they are racist, they don't provide basic employee rights, and they have really toxic working environment. I am shocked that it is still open to this day. Don't apply to a job here. Also there are better places to get bubble tea, trust me.
Coco has delicious bubble tea, made to order. You can adjust the sweetness, ice level and add sweet tapioca pearls or many other toppings like jellies. It's a refreshing drink perfect for a hot day. This place is priced well, not as expensive as some other bubble tea places.I recommend the brown sugar tapioca or the winter melon juice, both so flavorful!
I knew that the manager in this store was extremely rude towards the employees, but the discrimination towards people of colour and muslims is just unacceptable! i don’t get HOW they are still open after all the complaints and unacceptable business conditions that are just ridiculous, racist and islamophobic. from the reviews, i see that the owner is no different from the manager, so i will never come back here. if there is even a tiny bit of ethics how the businesses should run, this place should be definitely closed. you go to preso tea instead, don’t support this ridiculous place.
Former worker of this store.Management was terrible. The manager(owner) was racist and discriminatory towards black or muslim individuals. she would force the employees to fire/hire people based on their race and no respect towards the workers AT ALL,would talk to her employees in such a rude manner in front of customers.Teenagers/Students running the store since there was no manager,and only 1 supervisor. Didn’t pay us enough, took a big amount of tips and payday was always late because she would forget the paycheques. I can’t believe this place is still open and she’s running the store like nothing happened. It should’ve shut down months ago.
Experience was amazing 10/10! Staff was amazing and quick to give me a recommendation that was made fast and tasted amazing! I did ask the girls behind the counter how they were doing and they were clearly not impressed with management, they highlighted the review recently made about race discrimination and I'm sad to here it, I hope they can find a healthy place of employment. However the drink tasted great and if those two girls are reading this i hope leaving went smoothly!
this store is beyond unbelievable ... the owner fire the employee purely based on their race and discrimination. I can't believe someone has to go through that. I can never set foot in this store again and would never support their disgusting behaviour. i would give a 0 if i could (google do better)
On top of inconsistent and flavourless drinks, this establishment has baseless and downright ignorant hiring policies that discriminate against black and muslim communities. When your current employees are already delivering poor service, it seems that upper management has their priorities wrong when running a business.
Owner is racist and told manager not to hire black or muslim individuals. Disgusting and not acceptable in 2022. No business owner or person should be allowed to discriminate against someone and get away with it
Placed an order online for my husband to pick up, and it got canceled by the store because they’re out of an ingredient, I called and placed another order. My husband got there, had to wait for 3 other people who came after him to place their orders, got their orders before he got mine. My bubble tea tasted like water and sugar. This used to be my go to store but it has gone down hill with customer service and quality of the drinks. The girl who answered the phone today was rude, staffs in the store wasn’t nice either. I’m very disappointed!!!
