Good food’s. Good behaviour & good service.
I was very excited to visit this place after reading all the amazing reviews. However, I had a horrible experience. Everything was cold and tasteless. Even the ice cream was not good ( I dont understand how can they mess up ice cream). The only good thing was Prabhjyot and Riya's service. They were polite and friendly. Please save your money and go to another restaurant!
Excellent experience during lunch recently. Nice ambience of the restaurant and grand buffet as if all vegetarian options in the world were available- the name says it right. The starters, main course and desert options were large and delicious in taste. Staff was very cordial, active and prompt in services. The manager Robin came to ask us personally about the experience. He was working actively with staff to keep the place clean and make tables available quickly for new customers. The restaurant seemed very popular. Later I bought few sweets moong daal Halwa, Gajar Halwa and Milk cake from the shop and they tasted authentic and delicious.Overall great experience.
This is a dream place for any Punjabi living in Canada ????The food is to die for.. So much Variety. And taste of good is phenomenal....I go especially to Brampton from Barrie every week, just for this Buffet. And the wonderful team of Prabhjot/Paras/Riya was super polite and helping.10/10 for their service ❤️❤️❤️The best thing - super Affordable foodIf you miss Indian Food, go to This place. You won't regret.
Appetizers are really good, while food (Main course) is kinda alright.. Great variety in snacks, appetizers, main course and desserts etc.. Children wont be disappointed.. They have pizza option too! :) I would recommend it to a large group of people who are looking fwd to get a nice buffet option and to have a nice time together :) Amazing customer service!
Do not recommend!!My toddler didn’t even eat anything.Order cappuccino, got coffee like cappuccino and they argue but never were concerned to replace or refund it.The server did not know about the food. Ordered for butter naan, server offered layered naan instead. When I asked about the difference, she replied “butter with layers” but did not bother to actually say that she did not know, which would have been okay with us.
this place is OMG!!! The buffet was too overwhelming so we only ordered a la carte and here are the items we tried and totally loved - Dahi Puri, Chat Papri - this was just soooo good, Chana Bhatura was the star of the show! Mango Lassi was insanely amazing - it was thick and flavourful! They also have fresh Indian sweets, I was thrilled to grab Panjiri so tasty! The only thing I did not like was the Hakka noodles and chili paneer both of the items didn't taste good or fresh. It is really hard to make great Indo-Chinese items, overall the Punjabi street food was insane. This place stands up to its reputation and please don't go by its trashy outdoor outlook - they definitely need to improve it though, and the world changes as you walk in, it's very clean and well maintened. We will definitely visit Brar again.
The food they serve is great. There is no compromise in the quality of the food. The restaurant itself has a great vibe, as Brar Sweets is a brand. The variety of food they have for buffet is also amazing. The startes, deserts and all sides are also good. But the only thing I didn't like was the time limit they have for buffet. What I personally mean about buffet is to enjoy food and time with people you are there along with. The price is reasonable and as they offer only vegetarian buffet, so keeping the time thing is something I didn't like, so that's the reason behind my 3 stars but the food and everything else is a must go.
Buffet Review: Brars Charge $32 ++ per person for a buffet. Its a mixed bag. Its a very noisy and lousy place. Food is overall good, but their signature paneer products are very poorly prepared. Paneek tikka and haryali paneer tikka were very very dry and chewy, considering they produce best paneer in Canada. The music they place is pathetic, cheap punjabi songs and that too at full volume. They can do so good if little emphasis is given on quality and standard.Sweets Review: Brars is the biggest name in ethnic food scene in Canada. They have some amazing products such as paneer, desi ghee, frozen samosas and Indian sweets, however when you go to Brars restaurant, its a different story all-together . The wait time is too long for take away (pre order) or for over the counter sale. I bought some Indian sweets, it took the staff 45 minutes to pack from the time l ordered, another 15 minutes to Pack veg pakoras and that too on a day which was not busy, there were hardly 5 customers at that time. So its not worth the wait. When l complained to cashier Dev, he shot me back by saying, “so what, everyone is waiting”. Well this is kind of attitude which no body would want. If Brars can improve their customer service, over the counter sale experience, time per order, it will boost their overall sale and name in the market, Otherwise part time student staff and untrained cashier like dev is hurting their business.Looks like a good Indian modern restaurant with traditional Indian mindset when it comes to service.
Much hyped, heard about this place from so many people and recently got chance to visit this place. As soon as we reached we were told that we have only 1hour to finish our unlimited meal (that was so rude) some staff were polite and some were rude as we were eating for free.Food was okay, taste was average. Only the best part of the buffet wereSWEETS and CHAAT everything else were so average. Some of the starters were hot and good in taste and some were cold as Canadian weather and okay in taste.Overall it was a below average experience and I would prefer going to a good Indian restaurant and order & have what we actually would like to have.p.s. BRAR please speak to your staff and chefs, we expect much better from such a famous restaurant like yours.
