Accidentally ordered from here online. I confused bakers jerk( which has AMAZING food) on bovaird with betta. Similar names…. Any how… the food is just meh. Goat was too spicy… portions are small. Coleslaw is dry. Pasta is dry. I won’t be coming back. All 3 of my kids said they didn’t like it either. Poor and slow customer service
This is my favorite jerk chicken and jerk pork spot in Brampton. This restaurant is take out only and I wish it was open later (it closes at 6:30-7).Jerk Chicken 5 Stars- It has the authentic jerk flavor and you can taste the scotch bonnet peppers. It does have a bit of a kick in a good way.Jerk Pork 5 stars- It’s only served Thursday through Sunday.Pasta Salad 5 stars- one of my favorite pasta saladsBBQ Chicken 4 stars- definitely worth trying if you’re not a fan of jerk or would like to switch it up.Oxtails 4 stars- it’s very good, but I’ve had better.
VERY SMALLLLLLLLLL "large" meal. the bowl is one of those meant to trick consumers. it is almost flat with a high top and divided into 3 parts but the way it is divided is to make sure that the bottom is small so it hold's very little food but seems like it has a good portion. I'm not up for this trickery. Why am I paying almost $20 for a large oxtail and it can't even fill up my 7 year old niece. Rice is cheap, change that bowl and give people more food. Thank you
I ordered a large rice and peas with oxtail for myself and other dishes for my family and the rice was very salty!! I asked to replace my large rice and peas for plain rice but they gave me a small plain rice instead without gravy. The lady at the cashier did not provide good customer service as she refused to put gravy on my plain rice. It got to the point that I just wanted a refund since they didn't want to give me gravy on the plain rice. At first she was willing to give me a refund, but then she changed her mind and did not want to give me the refund. Her excuse was "we do not give refunds". In the end, another lady was willing to give a scoop of gravy. However, my family couldn't even enjoy their meals because of the salty rice and peas. They eneded up throwing away their rice and peas. Big dissapointment!! Unsatisfied customer! Never going back there again! If i can give zero stars, I would. There are other jamaican restaurants out there, do not waste your time and your money going here.

She hands you the food without saying a word, no "hi, here is your order", no "thank you", NOTHING. not a word.2) Rice super salty3) salt fish- Lethaly salty.4) very small portion for the costNot that the portion mattered in my case as I just threw the darn food out, even though I don't like wastage.
They where the best spot in Brampton for Jamaican food. But something changed last 2 mths let's say. Last time I got a beef soup, I swear to God I had one very small cube of beef, 1 dumpling and loads potatoes,yams etc. I felt cheated , that wasnt beef soup. If people order beef soup 1. Put beef in their container, ensure meat is picked up stop rushing , people are paying you. 2. Minimum 2 dumpling, c'mon now it's just flower and water. I'm on a 6 mth strike due to that vegetable soup they sold me. In 6 mths if they improve I'll come back and make a another review.
Customer service still isn't it I support because I'm such a soup lover but the person taking the orders on Saturdays not friendly at all...she looked at me and I looked at her until I moved up and ordered smh no hello no nothing...I will always support bc essentially the food is why I come but that's about it. The owner as always been great when I see him but I don't know about the rest
There is not a month that goes by that I don’t order from this wonderful establishment; the food is exceptionally good and I can tell that the chef is cooking with love!EVERY. SOUP. IS. FANTASTIC! So if you’re a soup person don’t sleep on the soup; Great food all across the board!
I ordered the Jerk Chicken dinner with rice and peas and coleslaw with oxtail gravy. My taste buds were happy; the food was well seasoned and had the right amount of spice. This will definitely be my new go to place for Jerk Chicken.
Curry goat was great order it a few times well but the customer service need a lot of help
