The 5 star is for the Jalebi. The best that i have eaten-crispy, perfect sweetness, thickness.Btw other than the jalebi there isnt anything Bangla about Bangla Sweets. Seems to be more in line with Indian cuisine.
when I ate the jalebi it was delicious, everyone should try once..literally it's same as indian taste ..please give a try and most importantly uncle who made jalebi he is very friendly.
I'll have to say their sweets are good but if you order lunch or dinner it is not fresh which if I'm paying the same here as I would elsewhere for fresh I'd rather order go elsewhere.
Ordered Lacha Parnatha and Butter naan today. The worst ever. And Butter naan, OMG it was a naan that you could buy from any grocery store and put butter on it. Very bad for experience. Never gonna go back. Waste of money
I have never ate jalebi like the chef makes at Bangla sweets....I love them till death
Copious use of Oil!We bought samosas, bread pakoras and paneer pakoras from here. These were packed in brown paper bags which we took home. By the time we got home (about an hour) the papers bags were soaked in oil to the point the bags had ripped. Taste was just okay if you really really want artery clogging food BUT if they really did a good job even fried food can be "dry". It all depends on the process. Now I'm no chef but I have eaten better quality fried food thats not reeking in oil. Consume at your own will or peril I should say!!
Reason for one star is They always add more than asking quantity to make extra money..How hard it is to add 1lb or 2lb when they do this every day. If it's worth $10 then they will make you pay $14 or more than $10 saying it's little over..I asked them so many time to take out extra but tired of asking every time. So WATCH OUT when they say little over..They make best khoya mithai and Jaleebi is my favorite..Ladoo full of sugar (sugar ball)Ask them to taste before buying or how old it is because sometime mithai is so hard and it's old but they sell it anyways.. Love their fresh mithai.
