Great jerk chicken, and the macaroni salad with rice and oxtail gravy was very nice to have as sides. $11 for a large jerk chicken meal had me wondering but this place did not disappoint. The only flaw was the glacial pace at which the food is served up. It's bad, but the food is just so good that I would still go back. They need two people at the front serving up orders - the place is just too busy for one person to handle. You could put a couple of sloths in there serving food and I suspect the service speed would improve kinda slow if you get what I'm saying. If you don't mind waiting then this place is worth the wait.
I like to try new places, so when I seen good ratings for Bakers Jerk, I decided to give it a go, albeit it was out of my way. I ordered Jerk w/rice and peas with a side of garden salad. The Jerk tasted like BBQ chicken because it was really sweet, Jerk is supposed to be spicy! lolSecondly, I ordered beef soup. There was nothing but potato/yam in that soup. Should call it YAM soup instead. All I got was a BIG beef bone LOL everything else was potato. Never again.Not coming back. Don's is way better!
I've been ordering food from this location for a fews years now. I ordered a small jerk chicken with rice and peas ox tail gravey with macaroni salad. I found 2 strains of hair in my food while I was eating. When I called Bakers to notify them about this issue, they asked for me to bring the food back so they can see the hairs as if I was telling a lie. I am a truck driver I was already on my route in a rush to be somewhere else. I had thrown it in the garbage due to how disgusted I was. They did nothing to try and resolve this issue. Worst customer service and disgusted with how I was treated knowing they were at fault and couldn't do anything. You guys have lost a repeated customer. Good Job Bakers Jerk!

This is my go-to spot for a meal whenever I am in this area of Brampton. Whatever you choose to order it will be good. Admittedly, there will be a wait/line as they receive a lot of customers because the food is immaculate. And the lunch special is a bit small in terms of servings but the price is great and the flavour is even better.
I've tried so many jerk chicken places around GTA but nothing ever beats Baker's. The flavour is amazing, service is always great and prices are reasonable. Don't forget to try their pasta salad.
The food is great but their service and location is far from great. If you're to order ahead from or uber or skip dishes for pick up. Don't bother because you're still gonna have to wait even after your pick up time. Call the restaurant direct if you're looking ahead. 2nd flaw is not Barkers fault but that tiny horrible designed parking lot. Is just a disaster. The fried chicken and pasta salad is the best Brampton HANDS DOWN!!!!
Literally the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I made a call in order and went to pick it up , not only was my order wrong it was also a smaller size but I was charged for larger meals. I realized this when I reached home so I gave them a call from which I got no solution. I am still waiting on a manager to call me back. These people have no respect or value for their customers and it clearly shows.
Food is good, customer service is absolutely terrible. If There’s 3 people in the store, you’re waiting at least MINIMUM 45 minutes just to order. Then about another 15 minutes to get your food. It takes far too long and there aren’t any pleasantries upon entry or when you finally get to order. When you try to call ahead to order, often times they don’t answer the phone. It’s especially frustrating standing in there and waiting as you just hear the phone ringing and ringing. Practices for how to take orders and get people out the door needs a serious overhaul. I won’t be returning.
One of the better Jerk chickens I've had. Not spicy but just the right amount of sweetness. It also had a nice smokey taste to it. Chicken was very tender and flavorful. I got the Large Jerk Chicken meal, rice and peas with oxtail gravy and pasta salad on the side.Lady at the front was nice. I will definitely be back 5/5
