My pedal was acting funky and The Brake Room was the only bike shop in Belleville that actually responded to me via Facebook Messenger. Adam & the rest of the staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible. The issue I was having was repaired, among other issues that I wasn’t aware of - due to the improper build of the bike from Canadian Tire. I highly recommend this shop over Doug’s Bicycle in particular, and will be returning if I have any issues in the future or wish to purchase another bike.
Nice coffeeshop with a small outdoors seating area. They offer some selection of pastries as well and free wifi. Didn't use the bike repair service, though it seems popular.
I stopped by here on my trip from Toronto to Ottawa, and I am glad I did.I was greated outside, early in the morning. Amazing food and a variety of cycling products.They had everything I needed to stock up AND even offered to tune up my bike while I had breakfast.My only complaint is that they are not located in my home town.

First time here, and not the last one. I booked an appointment for a saddle fitting. I had major issues riding my bike, and was hoping to be able to ride without pain. The employee was very patient, and did not rush anything. I felt he wanted me to be 100% satisfied even if it took some times. I did not feel any pressure on buying anything. That shop vibe is amazing. Everyone is friendly, including customers. Saddle fitting is an art, and not many people can do that. Very impressed by the service. Just did a 30km yesterday with minimal pain.
Wonderful, wonderful people offering great bikes, great service, and great coffee. If I lived in Belleville I would come here every day.I’ve had two bikes fit with Caleb, and it’s a super fun experience. I’ve had a bike built here for my daughter, and the result is totally killer.I can’t recommend enough.

Unfortunately I don’t live in Belleville, but if I did The Brake Room would be my favorite cafe in town! I’ve been here twice now and always make a point of stopping by when we’re in town. Great coffee, great treats and the best staff!They also make amazing Cortados too… probably the best west of the rockies.
Wow, this is THE SPOT. Amazing coffee, incredible staff and wow.. the food. Seriously, try the Blume Lavender latte and/or the espresso based drinks. Thank you for blessing my tastebuds.
