This place is a joke, still demanding proof of “vaccination” several weeks after the Chief Medical Officer of Ontario rescinded the order. They have clearly chosen to follow their own version of science, more commonly known as discrimination. The hostess was extraordinarily rude and my strong recommendation is that anyone who values freedom, inclusivity, and a societal return to the fundamentals of etiquette - avoid patronizing this establishment. For the record, we visited on a Saturday night at prime dinner hour, and the place was absolutely dead. We ended up at Paulo’s nearby, where the food and customer service were both impeccable!
Awesome Friday night live music! Group of 8, we got a side room and long table ! This was great for us and the food was awesome! Honey wings and onion sandwich were great and flavorful! Desserts we tried both and they were equally delightful! Staff were very friendly and accomidating! Would definitely recommend! And would go back anytime.
They are not taking reservations at this time so you have to wing it first come first seated. We were seated and sat there for 15 minutes while I watched staff by the bar talking with each other and checking phones. I always give them the chance to notice us at a table. Nope had to go to the bar and ask if anyone was serving tonight We ordered the salmon special and a fantastic appetizer. The appetizer was a crb thing and it was great. The salmon arrived and it was completely raw in the middle we sent them back and they cooked us 2 more. It was great. We are going back and I’ll keep you posted. Cheers
Great food & I noticed when I picked up my order that they are maintaining the vaccine passports a little longer, which is great. The tables are also nicely spaced out and I'll definitely plan to dine-in next time.
Sorry to say the plate I got was terrible. Ask for a burger without the buns and with greens... I got not even a sample of dry ground beef, tasteless, and unappetizing. They didn't charge me for it, which I'm thankful for the gesture, but the menu options and food has to improveHad also sangría which was delightful, just next time use fresh fruit instead of frozen.
Very nice place. Delicious beef short rib and artisanal greens salad. Would've appreciated a heads-up that both courses would be served at the same time, but delicious nonetheless. Enjoyed the lemon curd and pumpkin cheesecakes. We'll go back again and make sure we're there for the entire live music performance.
A friend of mine recommended trying Capers for lunch. I was not disappointed. If you love good food and a lovely atmosphere, I also recommend giving this place a try. The staff was wonderful, which is also worth mentioning. Pricing is a bit on the higher end of the spectrum but, in my opinion, totally worth it. I will be returning and have been recommending others do the same :)

We love Capers and it's been a while since we had been there. Great food and drinks, staff was fantastic and it was a wonderful way to spend a Friday night. Thanks and we'll be back for sure!
Our favourite things :: Wonderful staff, cozy atmosphere, delicious menu options (always with a side of their amazing truffle fries) + live acoustic on Fridays… Capers has been our go-to for a few years, and they just keep getting better!
