I have had a lot of vegan food before but this one taste don’t taste like vegan food at all !!! The chicken wings we order gave me a sense of sponge and the pizza is just like eating sauce. Lemonade and ice tea with no ice inside. Idk what kind of ingredients they are using and I had to wait for more than 30 minutes. I even had a stomachache after eating.NEVER ORDER IN THERE AGAIN
The staff are very helpful and super nice. Great service!The food was ok. We ordered burgers with fries. We got falafel patties for our burgers and they were dry and completely fell apart. It was very hard to eat. All the food was very salty (the awesome sauce, patties and fries). We couldn’t finish it and we don’t have usually have an issue with salty foods when we go out. Gluten free bun was good.The other thing was that there was smoke inside the restaurant and our eyes were burning.
The best vegan restaurant you’ll find in the city, healthy and delicious without compromising your health or taste! Patties are made of actual real plant foods instead of wheat gluten dough that other restaurants like to use to mimic the “meat” I highly recommend this place it’s delicious!
I was excited to go to this restaurant my mother is a vegan, I however am not a vegan but need to say my mother hated everything they made except for the hummus dish. All the food had a strange aftertaste I had the chicken wings upside down stranger wings (which I commend the name) they nailed the mouth feel and was probably the most enjoyable thing I had (besides the hummus). The Burgers are too mushy however if you want some good vegan burgers go to wickies north or south Barrie. The pho almost made me wanna puke, this is not pho, my wife is Vietnamese and I know good pho but this did not have the taste of it at all. However I enjoyed that they made the bean shoots the noodles and even gave a chili for authenticity. The vegan beef in the pho they nailed the mouth feel but when your soup base tastes like sewer water there isn't much you can do. The vegetables were to mushy in my mother's powerbowl and once again that pice they use is disgusting. My wife could not even finish the salad the next day as she did not like the flavour. The place really nails the mouth feel of meat but if your food tastes bad than the feeling dosent mean much and for that I give it one star. Also the awesome sauce consistancy was terrible. There is too much bad that out weighs the good. However try their vegan ice cream it's delicious

Their VEGAN pizzas are just ... amazing! Also we have tried their deli options and I enjoyed most of them (some are just not my taste). Valian's is a great place to try foods with interesting vegan ingredients, that are too much hassle to make at home.

I was in Barrie and saw that they had vegan ice cream and thought I would give it a try:) safe to say I’m very happy I did!! It is by far the best vegan iced cream I have every had! Their sandwiches are also amazing! The only downside is that they aren’t located closer to where I live! So I guess I’ll have to come to Barrie more often so I can get it again:) highly recommend to anyone who enjoys plant based food or has any intolerances like dairy:)
Coming from Mississauga to explore Barrie. This place was the highlight of my trip where "Tina" on counter explained the menu and I had the bean burger and Avocado salad which was nothing like i ever devoured. scrumptious tasty most of all not heavy but filling.Thank you tina for fiing my bottle n my belly.
