Chicken smelled rotten with a fishy type smell/taste to it, and the noodles literally tasted like dirt. $20 for a bit of food that went straight into the garbage.
usually go downtown Toronto, Richmondhill, Markham for our fill of Chinese food because Barrie just hasn't cut it until a few months ago we heard of this place. Thought we'd give it a try after a few friends had mentioned it. Of course hesitant we only ordered few things for take out. We've ordered quite a few times now and must say I'm quite impressed so far at the freshness, taste, and portions. It's become our "go to" and has saved us quite the drive when we crave certain dishes. Staff is always friendly, owner has accommodated our requests for more spicy too, orders come out fast for us.I think we've found our flavours here.I'm sorry to read all the negative reviews, I'm glad I tried Top Wok without reading them first. If I did I would've missed out on a true gem in this city?These photos are my son's favourite lunch.
We found the customer service to be excellent. We ordered for pick up for new years eve as our regular place had an hour and a half wait. The 2 young guys behind the counter were extremely friendly, the food on the other hand, not so friendly. The rice looked and tasted burnt, chicken balls, tough to chew. The lo men and noodles we were surprised to see had zero veggies in it, same with the rice. They charged us for an extra chicken ball order. I had high hopes for this placejust based on the customer service. Customer service 5 star, food 1

Food was cooked fresh since it was so hot. Prices are okay. But tasted not good as expected.
Walked in and the worker was in the back FULLY visible drinking a beer. We asked if we can order and he proceeded to look at us and look back to his beer and ignore us? Very odd service which doesn’t make sense. Maybe the management should make it a rule to not drink and ignore customers during work hours! Might help business
Walked in said hi no response, said hi louder to be heard he continues to drink his beer and pick his teeth and ignores me and my wife. Horrible service

Nice cute homely restaurant, great large portions with reasonable prices. The food is a little greasy but the taste makes up for it tenfold. Over all great food!
