I guess times are changing..... We have always enjoyed our food orders from Tikka Fusion in the past. Our last order.... not so much. The dinner for 4 has gone up in price but they no longer include the samosas and the 4 tiny salads in tiny containers have been reduced to 1 tiny salad. Not enough for 1 person let alone 4. So when we picked up our order they tried to charge more money than quoted over the phone. They didn't give us our drinks and didn't give us the samosas we paid extra for. When my daughter, who picked up for us, got home.... we called and they made us drive back to get what they messed up. It was not a good experience. It's things like this that make me not go back to a take out restaurant, even if the food is good. Service is as important as food. Right now, Tikka Fusion is lacking in customer service.
I have ordered biryani from here often. I had take out twice and there was literally ONE piece of chicken in the take out. This last weekend we made a big order for a party and made a note about making sure a good ratio of meat was added….I ordered a Medium size biryani platter and had SIX pieces of meat!!!!65.99 and 6 pieces of meat, a platter that is to feed 20 people.Waste of my money.I attached a photo of All the rice … that is ALL RICE.
Taste ok.. but chicken korma all shredded chicken and bones in curry (instead of whole pieces) looks like overcooked or a day or two old chicken reheated and served.
The food was ok not exactly the real taste.Samosas are good the rest of the food is not very tasty from chicken salan small beef pieces are coming out looks like they keep mixing the curry.
We were there on 15 feb. Ordered smosa chaat and tea , food was very cold and tea was tasteless , felt like masala’s in hot water , no milk
Tried this restaurant a couple of month ago after carefully reviewing what people have to say.I ordered 5 times from this place since that and every single time food was fresh and tasty. I usually order combo for 2 for me and my wife.I tried different meet from that combo and I personally prefer chicken as it seems to be more tender and juicy. Combo comes with really tasty freshly baked bread.Food always was well packed and still warm on delivery. This is a good place if you want some comfort food.
I ordered Chicken Karma, Samosa & Naan Bread.I was disappointed to find my chicken was on the bone so this involved picking through my meal with my hands to remove all the bones. I have ordered this same dish from other Indian restaurants and never ever had it served that way. Very dissappointed in how much chicken there actually was once removed from the bone.I enjoyed the flavor but was surprised at how greasy everything was. It was delivered in paper bags with no other form of absorption used for the grease so needless to say the whole ordered looked like it was dipped in the deep fryer. The container for the food was also poor quality so my chicken dish leaked all over everything else.Same may read this and think the form of packaging is not important but I disagree. If I could dine in , I would expect decent presentation of my meal and I would hope for the same with takeout.
Ordered the chicken biryani and buttered chicken. Both excellent. I'd recommend it.
We had the chicken briyani which was good but it's not fresh at all. You can notice it was made a while ago or had been sitting out. My wife and I liked the taste so we are giving it 3 stars but I don't understand how it's $11.29 for just 1 box of "chicken" briyani. This isn't veal briyani or some expensive place in Toronto. This should max $7-8.
The last two times I’ve ordered here, the food was freezing cold. They prepare their dishes and then microwave them very poorly. Food is warm on the outer edges but stone cold in the middle. We got masala fries that were not cooked not reheated at all. Flavour is there but the owners need to address this before they give someone food poisoning or put them in hospital.
