We always enjoy the food from The 7 Spice, but the Bunny Chow is my favourite! The owners are lovely and the staff are always friendly and efficient. The food is awesome and the portions are generous. I can't say enough good things about them! Highly recommended!!
We had dinner at 7 Spice for the first time last night The food was delicious and our hosts were friendly and gave us a little history of the food. We started with the peri peri fires and they were crisp and covered with the most delicious sauce! We then shared the bunny chow with shrimp(a must order dish! You’ll become addicted to this flavourful dish) and the 7spice rockstar. Absolutely delicious with the combo of rice,fries and chicken. We had their homemade hot sauce. Not killer but adequately hot. All their food is created in their kitchen. Next on the agenda is to go for breakfast! Can’t wait. They are licensed but right now only have a small beer selection. They said they’ll be getting a tap going and a wine selection.
As always, Fernando, Pauline and the team at Seven Spice bring incredible flavour blends and customer service to the table. Whenever I have friends or family visiting and they want to go to a restaurant, this is where I bring them and especially if they have dietary restrictions. I'm a huge fan of the Malaysian chicken curry, but I would recommend any dish as the food here is made with great care and love! Thanks again for incredible dining experience with every visit!
Got Double chicken and Pad Thai.Pad Thai lacks authentic flavour but still not bad. Double chicken was similar to butter chicken but with a distinct potent flavour. Overall good food with generous portions.
We went to the new downtown location for breakfast. If I say it was amazing, that does not do it justice. You can have a traditional breakfast if you want but you will miss out on a fantastic taste experience. I had Moroccan meatballs with eggs. Perfectly cooked and an amazing blend of flavours. This may be the best breakfast I have had. If you’re in downtown Barrie you need to come here. Across from the bus station and soo good. Staff are amazing too
The owners of 7 Spice are amazing and so kind. They make every visit special, and the food is fantastic! Our daughter chooses 7 spice for her birthday meal every year ❤️
What a beautiful spot! Very lovely and nice variety of choices! I had the bunny chow, really recommande it! My friend had the crispy chicken strips and the fries were on point.
First time walking in to check this place out - we were met with joyful smiling faces. You can tell this family are passionate about their food and giving their guests the best experience possible. We ordered the shukshuka and it was amazing. The hummus they served on the side was so delicious you can tell it was home made. Everything was made from scratch - so delicious! We will be back to try everything on the menu.
Visiting my Boyfriend who lives locally, and I have to say I know why he frequents here. The PeriPeri fries were to die for. So good I went back the next day and got more. Coconut curry was fantastic. I definitely recommend! Next time in Barrie I will be stopping here ?
A must go if you're in Barrie! Amazing fusion food with some very delectable menu options!We tried the Peri Peri samosas, fries, South Asian style pad thai and, and the double chicken with nan and rice - all VERY goooodd! Highly recommended.
