Very clean, toppings fresh and well stocked, display case looked excellent. Veggies were crispy and staff friendly. Buns fresh baked even at 4pm. Looking forward to going back.The parking lot is a busy thoroughfare so just be aware at peak times ... And has many other stores which service the locals and the enroute tourists / campers / cottagers before they head into nomad country further north.
This place is generally consistent three star place. They do as advertised, not above not below which is great, usually….Except today, walked in and there are two people working one person is making subs for an online order and the other person is doing tasks, like stuff in the back refilling things and just other stuff. So it took about five minutes to get served even though I was the only person there but not a big deal because the other person was in training. But then I observed the person making the sub kept touching the tablet screen with the gloves on while the tablet was also on the food preparing table, and would grab ingredients after touching the tablet which I found kind of gross especially in a food environment, then that person started making my sub but did change their gloves. Then got to a certain point and handed the sub to the person in training to finish, but the person in training did not change their gloves and I was even a grossed out before because they handled meat with the gloves they had on touching everything else while tasking. So I was observing and making sure I didn’t order whatever he touched. I had to ask him to change his gloves before touching my sub. I got bacon on my sub and he put it in a big clump in the middle of the sub and I had to ask if he didn’t mind to spread the bacon out on each side which every other subway in the world basically does, and him and their partner basically looked at each other like I was being a jerk.To be fair this was the first time I’ve really had a bad experience at this location, but it was actually the worst experience I’ve ever had at a subway, and I was extremely grossed out by the lack of food safety and hygiene. I have the sub on my table in the bag still debating if I’m even going to eat it since I was grossed out so much. Even if these were times that people weren’t concerned about spreading germs still pretty gross.
based on taste and presentation... it's a 5 for us BUTT on friendliness, well we weren't in there for friendships, they're about a 2.. I waited to do this review until I had been in here more than 3x to give the most honest opinion and here I am, they're consistent with the service without a smile ?I will still continue to come back to this location like I said sub was still good, ingredients and work area appear clean
good hours to accommodate late midnight cravings! Some subs are delicious, some are not. Must choose good sauces to improve the overall taste.

Placed an order for 2 subs 1 was fine the other was missing ingredients called the store to advise and clerk ask me to wait a minute then hung up on me. After several more attempts the clerk answered and advised that I must be lying and then disconnected again. What a joke. My suggestion is not to order from this location. Try another as we have ordered from the location at Minets Point Rd with no issues.
ordered 2 subs, when they arrived the bread was completely unclooked in the middle, dont know how that went un noticed but completely raw dough in the middle.
i go to subway when i lack the creativity to go anywere else, its never good but never terrible. its a sandwich for 12 bucks, which isnt great for a price either. its quick and they are on every corner, whcih is how i ended up at the one on Essa road in barrie. I might go there again but i still dont expect to enjoy it any more than the last time
