Omg, this place is my new favourite place! We've previously ordered from here through delivery apps, so we knew the food was good. But the dine-in experience was the best I've ever had for an all-you-can-eat place.They use tablets for ordering and you can order as many times as you want as long as you finish the dishes. However, when we tried the yam tempura, we found the yam undercooked and they accepted us sending it back without any extra charge. We did speak to our waiter in the moment, which probably helped.The response time of the servers was very quick, all the serving staff and the hostess were extremely friendly and attentive, and our server even offered me extra dessert after we'd paid.We went for Sunday dinner around 6:30 or so and left at 8:45 or so, and not once did we feel rushed. The place wasn't too busy, so things might be different when it's busy.I've attached two pictures showing all the items we ordered and we also had both the crème brûlé and ice cream for dessert. The selection is quite extensive and a nice mix of both Thai and Japanese dishes. The portions are small, but we found them satisfying. The size allowed us to try multiple items. When ordering, pay attention to how many pieces is in an order for each item because sometimes the pictures showed more pieces than per order.We will definitely be back and I encourage everyone to check them out!
The food and service was definitely good.Men's bathroom was pretty nasty though, if you're gonna have an all white marble floor you better make sure it's not that obvious there's black grime and junk in every corner.The hand dryer had brown gunk built up in the bottom of it, the urinal pads seriously needed a change too. Kind of throws you off the whole visit.I'd recommend another all you can eat asian cuisine for half the price elsewhere...
We had gotten takeout from here several times during civid and it was great ! Today our usual sushi place was closed and we came here instead the menu didn’t include any description’s of the rolls like on skip took sooo long and then they shorted us we order 6 shrimp we’d get 4 and I went with my two small kids so I usually order enough for them and then my extra pieces, so since they shorted me I have my kids fighting over it as well as I didn’t get mine, obv the kids eat first so by the time I started to eat my toddler was done and moved his way onto my lap … everything took so long and then we order ice cream there is a HAIR in mine they don’t apologize or anything just take it away they bring me the bill two adults 69.99 ok then tax 79 so my husband went to get the car and they come and grab the bill said that she did it wrong and he will take care of it, we go to pay they added 15% on tip I said wtf ? I thought you were gonna offer discount for the hair in my ice cream and the service ? He said no and asked am I sure I don’t wanna tip my server like no I don’t she was awful never going back or order there again
Well it's mother's day weekend so we went out for a special dinner. We sat down and ordered our drinks and proceeded to place our food order on the tablet. A few items of food cam rather quickly. But then the service fell right off the tracks. After ordering the same food 3 times to barley receive our fist order. We sat there for 2 and a half hours until they finally came with a bill of over 100$. That's fine I expect to pay a decent amount but after 2 hours and still not receiving my orders. I'm beyond disappointed. No comp was offered. I was a regular to this place before covid hit and never had such bad service. I'm sure this is going to be my last time here.
Visiting Barrie, decided to try this restaurant. Food is fantastic, BUT: if you want friendly service, not the place for you. If you want timely service, not the place for you. If you don’t want to flag someone down every time you need something…..you get the point. The service is terrible, which makes no sense since there seemed to be 10 ppl working there and it wasn’t packed.Also, I’m pretty sure the floors haven’t been mopped in a few weeks. My shoes were sticking to the floor. Thank God there was a poster on the wall asking me to social distance though.Lastly, there was a handwritten poster at the front advising that they will not accept gift cards, so I guess you’re SOL if you have one.I’ve never written a review before, so that’s how disappointed I was with this experience.
I am giving one star because that is the least needed for a review. We visited the Barrie location on April 6th. The food tasted terrible while the service was even worse. Mango salad didn’t have the usual peanut sauce and was unusually sour. We first got Diet Coke when we ordered regular ones. Got white wine when asked for red. Having been to several Asian restaurants, I have never tasted General Tao Chicken this sour. The plates weren’t clean and had an awful smell of fish sauce or something. We didn’t say anything but felt so bad when the waitress came by and stood there with the billing machine even before we were done eating… horrible service! We have been living in Barrie for several years now but never had such a bad experience in any other restaurants. The waitress even asked why we tipped her less !!!

Went today for lunch, was not offered anything to drink! Took forever to get our food! Very small portions! Terrible service! Filled up on Water as that was the best service! Did not even get everything that we ordered on the tablet! This used to be my favourite restaurant, after today not sure if I will be back!
Very disappointed. We used to go here pre-COVID shutdowns and always enjoyed it. We were so looking forward to going back for a special night out. Unfortunately, the food quality and service have gone down and the prices have gone up. We won't be back.
Love the small tapas plates. So fun to try a bit of everything!
