Definitely recommend eating in. Fries in general dont really travel/deliver well, but great flavours!
Good food. Not Montreal style poutine, but good for Ontario
The prices are up and the portions of the toppings are way down there's definitely better places to go for poutine in Barrie nowadays unless you like paying around $20 for less than half a cup of toppings on some soggy fries
Sadly Tanya below is correct. I haven’t been into a smokes poutine in years. Finally got to one today and it was awful. I’ve always raved about this place and had stupid cravings. I ordered a pulled pork poutine and it was swimming in gravy. Fries barely cooked, just very soft and wormy. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this location again…do better guys. Just. Do. Better.
This is actually one of the worse poutines I've had in a long time. So disappointed. For the price and portion size. They could do alot better. Fries were drowned in gravy. Literally it looked like soup in the container with that much gravy. Could have used more cheese to balance out the extra gravy. Will definitely not be returning.
The man who prepares the poutine and manages the front counter is a very polite and respectful person. He takes his time preparing the poutine. No nonsense and you get what you pay for.
We had a wonderful time here. The place has got a cool vibe. The poutines were large and tasted delicious! Their chef knows the art of making lip-smacking poutine. I am coming back to try more dishes.
This place is awesome! Their chicken bacon ranch has been my comfort food. They have a bunch of topping options. I was also impressed with the sweet perogy and boneless wings. There are fancier poutine places, but for the price and quality of these I'd definitely revisit this place.
It was absolutely a delight to visit this place. I ordered the double pork poutines and tater tots, and they did not disappoint at all. The stuff never tried to rush us and were in fact, super nice and patient. I would definitely re-visit this place.
We came here. We ordered. We devoured. Now, if your looking to feel good about yourself and staying in your calorie.. whatever you people call it... Wrong place. But if you want pure unadulterated comfort food because a) you drank to much. B) you had to deal with your drunk friends all night. Or c) [my personal favorite] you just want to enjoy everything because someone might run you down at the five points; walk in to smokes, order a double pork poutine and some fried cheese curds. Make sure to burn your mouth on the first one to develop a minor callous. Then you can consume without hesitation.
