Had to wait 20+ minutes for a table even though the restaurant was half empty as the kitchen was overwhelmed with a large party, then get seated beside the large party of snotty nose brats while I hoped to enjoy a nice dinner in a quiet atmosphere… the waitress however was great Now onto the food.. miss some of the older steak combos… but I found something that was ok. It came to the table cold however at this point I needed to get on the road for a lengthy drive home so just ate it… Would not stop here again I understand all places are short staffed but there’s something else going on here!
My wife has wanted me to take her to Red Lobster for so long and now I know why. I've never been but the lobster surf and turf dish we had was easily far tastier than any surf and turf I've had at one of those popular steakhouses. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised at how much the lobster reminded me of the lobster we had in PEI!Very thoughtful and kind wait staff - made us feel right at home. A wonderful first experience for me at Red Lobster. And now I'm sure it won't be my last.
Decided to take a road trip and stopped here for dinner. We should have kept going as the taste of things were just so so . The wait staff was excellent the decor was inviting but the food was not worth the price .
I always love going here, the food is always amazing and the staff are great. They are super friendly and knowledgeable about anything on the menu.
Went for my birthday dinner with my wife and some friends. I ordered the 2 lb of snow crab legs and they were f****** amazing!!! Great service to start, a little slow at the end. A wonderful experience!!
Was on our way home from Wasaga Beach and decided to try out Red Lobster in Barrie. Our server Melissa suggested the Thursday special. I would give her a 5 star for service. Glad we took her recommendation. We started off with a shared appetizer of Lobster and Artichoke Seafood Dip with yellow and blue tortilla chips, for our main dish a shared platter of 2 Lobster Tails, a skewer of 5 seared scallops, garlic shrimp and Walts Favourite Shrimp and 2 sides of rice and baked potato. For dessert we shared a large slice of Chocolate Wave cake with a scoop of Vanilla Ice-Cream. Everything was so good and filling adding in the biscuits.
I had a great dining experience at this restaurant. The waitress was attentive and the food was fresh and flavourful. The recommendations were great. One of the few restaurants (if not the only restaurant in Barrie) where you can choose your own wild caught live lobster for dinner. Will be back again soon!
Great selection on the menu. Good service. We went early before it was busy which usually helps in that regard. All good.
Our server was excellent! Attentative to all of our needs, constantly refilling our drinks, our biscuits ? she was superb! Food was amazing as well - be prepared to spend a lot though, once you get a taste, you just want more ?
1st time going since pre Pandemic ? just as always the food was delicious! Employees are always super friendly. We will definitely be back!
