Waiter had excellent customer service and was very funny! The restaurant was very clean and had a welcoming feel. Taro bubble tea is my favourite drink to get & food is delicious and flavourful! If you want some good food and a nice waitress go to pho bistro
Just moved from Toronto to BarrieDecided to or from this. Restaurant Pho bistro.I ordered a chicken fried rice,a shrimp soft egg noodles, shrimp roll and a grilled chicken on sticky rice .Well the only thing that was a little bit okay was the shrimp roll even though they send hosein sauce and not peanut sauceThe shrimp soft noodles was bought for my toddler grand daughterI couldn’t feed her the noodles because it was so hardThe grilled chicken on sticky riceOmg they give me regular long grain rice and not sticky riceThe fried rice was so hard I had to recook both fried rice and shrimp noodles.I thought moving from Toronto to Barrie the food would be the same but this restaurant was 0 star for meI will not recommend this place to anyoneI just wish they would refund my 80 dollars I spent
It is overpriced. 1 bowl of noodle with rare beef+brisket+beef ball is $16.50 for regular size which has small portion. The soup is just ok. The worst part is the waitress pressed the button to give herself 15% tip before turning the machine to the customer. We never see any restaurant like this. My husband did not bother argue with her because we will never go back there anymore.
The mood was nice, lively. The food was pretty good for the most part but the chicken wings were very salty. The pad Thai was incredible, enriched in flavour. Overall would recommend.
Read a lot of good reviews about how good PhoBistro food was so I decided for the first-time to try them out. I ordered rice, pad and a noodle dish all with chicken and paid them a whopping $74. I know inflation is hitting these people hard but didn’t expect it to cost me this much. Still can’t get over this! I had high expectations but was extremely disappointed in taste and quality of my takeout. I’m a senior and I know how food should be prepared and cooked as I’m a pretty good cook myself. I rate Pho Bistro a disappointing 2. Definitely avoid coming here! Cheers.
Rude. Unprofessional. Lack of hospitality. Just read for yourself how the owner responds to negative feedback. If you want to "pay for gas and your bills"..treat your customers with respect and MAYBE they will come back. My mother wasn't happy with her pho and expressed the price was a bit high and was verbally attacked - another customer was even shocked and said she was rude. This was completely unnecessary and not the way this situation should have been handled.
Phenomenal Pho! The broth is rich, complex, and bursting with flavour. Noodles have a great consistency and texture. Spring rolls are made in the traditional way with rice paper. S-Rank
Amazing service in the Pho Bistro located in young st. Barrie. You are greeted as soon as you enter the establishment. Refershments are offered as soon as you are seated. Warm and friendly environment and staff are absolutely amazing not to mention the food. There are options for everyone! 10/10 would recommend ?
The waitress was polite but the service was quite slow because she was the only one on the floor. The portions were a bit small in terms of the price. The pho and pineapple chicken fried rice tasted decent. They should have hired more servers.
Service was slow because waitress / owner was on the phone the entire time for what seems like a social call. Got charged for extra bowl we didn't order. I think it was done purposely, if I was sure then it would be 1 star. Food was okay. Won't be back and don't recommend.
