The restaurant was busy when we arrived but were seated quickly. The selection of foods was overwhelming and there was food for every taste. I had a selection of Chinese foods and it was all very good. Definitely will go back when I'm in Barrie again.

Food is fantastic, fresh and kept stocked quickly. The wait staff was speedy and kept drinks topped off.Server was very friendly. They offer disposable gloves to wear, so you're not handling the tongs barehanded. They could have had the station set up next be to the plates as it caused a bit of congestion.

Our server was amazing, and friendly. The food was extraordinary

Was there for a wedding. The staff were fabulous. They picked up dishes as soon as one was empty. I went to the food 4 times that night plus dessert. Couldn't move for a while. Food was tasty and such an array to choose from. Fun night for all.

This place was LOVELY. Beautiful entrance with live fish and sounds of nature. Smelled heavenly. The food was amazing and so was the desserts. Waiters were nice and respectful. Got told our wait would be 15 minutes but it was around 30 but that's okay, still got a great time to look around and eat. Lovely place.

Very good place to eat. I have had all of my birthdays here and will want my kids to have all of their birthdays here. The staff is very pleasant and well mannered. The owner came around and was very polite and welcoming. I would highly recommend coming here for the food.

Mandarin in Barrie is a lovely buffet restaurant to go to. Exceptional service, great food, nice ambience, one of d owners, Carolyn is a lovely friendly person, very accommodating, it's nice when she goes around to say hello to everyone and knows me by name. She has never missed my name! The staff are also lovely...( we v had Burak, Qiny, Vivian) The environment also has a nice feel to it. We are regulars and will always go back there.

Staff was super polite, friendly and helpful and the food was absolutely amazing. Was my first visit there and most definitely won't be my last!

My sister and I went for lunch. We use to enjoy going there so much, and hadn't been there in a while. during the day on week days, they have a menu where you order stuff ala carte. Small dishes of what you order. We loved the buffet, but this was fine too. It took 1/2 hour to get the menu's or water. He finally got our menu' s and we ordered. The food was supposed to come all at once, but didn't. The won ton soup was flavorless and cold. We pointed this out to the server, he just shrugged. Eventually we got all our food, but while we were waiting, another couple got up and walk out. There was a lot of unhappy people all around us. The server went over to that table, took the drinks away, and put the same silverware back on the same napkins. Not good in this new covid times. We had ordered honey and garlic ribs. They were so tough, you could not eat them. We pointed this out to our server when he came to clear some dishes. We showed him how you couldn't even cut them with a knife and how we had not/could not eat them. We got the bill and we were charged for them. We questioned him about this, and he said "yes". We asked if he talked to his manager about taking it off the bill, and he said he did and his manager said he had to charge us. I don't believe this. We had conversations with 15 very unhappy people around us, not including the couple who walked out. Very dissappointed, will not go back. Very rude way to treat customers and try to keep them. None of the food was up to par and we ordered frozen drinks and they came runny with ice chunks in them.

Good food tasty and always Hot
