Service was very slow took 30 minutes just to get our drinks. Asked for two waters after and never got a single one and when we did she only brought one glass of water we asked her multiple times for water my mom likes lettuce wraps not tortilla and they waited till after about an hour to tell us oh we don’t have any lettuce wraps so she wasn’t able to eat. She doesn’t like flour wraps if they had told us at the beginning we would of went somewhere else the margaritas were yummy though
Our server was Tequila and she was awesome with both kids and adults alike. The food was good and consistent with other Lonestar restaurants. The white peach Sangria was really good and definitely my favourite part of the meal. Service was quick and the food came out in a decent time.
Absolutely disgusting. Outside tables full of dishes stacked up. Waiter had no clean plates told me to eat off a small coffee plate. How r u guys in business. Health department needs to stop by.
Made reservations for a party of 8. Unfortunately did NOT turn out as planned.Seems our waitress was entitled to her break in the middle of our dinner!She also seemed to think is was the customers job to distribute all the drinks to correct locations.Fajitas came with zero sizzle, and lots of onion skin! (no kidding)My Dad sent back his cold Enchiladas! They were returned to him still cold in the middle!The Manager came to ask how our dinner was? She was then informed of my Dads food still cold and she chose to do nothing about it! (She seriously needs course in Customer Service!)It even gets better from here,When our backup waitress brought our 2 orders of dessert there was no room on table for a plate as they hadn’t even cleared off the table yet!Last but not least!In our big heart of hearts we felt that a tip was still in order and decided on 10%. Obviously not good enough for this Brat! Not even a thank you!!!
Pretty good overall! We did wait a while for service, drinks etc which was wierd cause they weren’t that busy? We had the Chicken chimichanga and it tasted ok but I think it was a little undercooked cause it wasn’t crispy and only warm inside not hot!! The beer was cold tho!!!
Maybe best to avoid this place for a bit as they sort out their training issues. Service was poor. Seemed like everyone who was working was training. We waited about 10 min. from the time we sat down to have our drink orders taken. Even another server asked if we had been checked in on yet, and she said she would find our server. Our food was decent but took so long to be made. Our bill came and we were overcharged on everything. Kids meals had drink and dessert charges added on when we were told they were included. Also no free refills. Was charged 3.49 for every refill. Noticed this on the bill after I left.
Myself and sister took our parents here for their anniversary last night and I have to say it was disappointing. We don’t often complain and I know how busy a restaurant can become on a Saturday night but it just seemed to be one thing after another and I really do credit our servers for saving the experience because they were great!We got seated and our server Sunshine was really sweet. We ordered daiquiris and 2 arrived in regular schooner glasses and 1 came in a mini/small schooner. We thought it was kind of weird because one person is paying the same price for a decent amount less but hey, it’s a Saturday, it’s busy maybe they ran out of glasses? It did take awhile for the food to come out but again, it’s a Saturday night. We all ordered steaks and when they got there we did not have any cutlery or napkins. I think they had to prepare the cutlery rolls because it took a little bit to get them. My mom ordered her steak medium well and it was rare. We let our server know and she took it back to be remade. It’s kind of a bummer when that happens because by the time her meal came out the rest of us were finished. All our food was luke warm so I feel like it was sitting on the line for a while maybe? In our servers defence, they asked us if everything else was good. We said yes because we aren’t ones to complain and didn’t want to seem annoying.I will say, Sunshine was a really nice server and when she went on break, Tito took over and she is amazing. She was so funny! She honestly saved the day. Cause even though the food was not great, she was!For the price, it was not worth it. Steak was not the right choice to order off the menu!Overall the food and drinks were disappointing but our 2 servers deserve credit for saving the experience!
We were at this restraunt at 12:30 for lunch. It was a meet in the middle date lunch with my parents. We are from Cambridge, my parents from Midland. Two steak meals (MEDIUM rare), two Cheese burgers, We all had gravy. The gravy was microwaved, even though they denied it, but it had that crusty ring around the edge of the bowl. I burned my lips after dipping my fries. Speaking of crust The two steaks had a layer of burned crust on them, that when my dad attempted to cut his steak, it slid off the plate, with half his fries. My dad ate his, but my husband asked for a second steak, which took 1/2 hour to get, and still managed to be burned to a crisp on the outside, yet still "mooed" when he cut into it. It was that raw on the inside. He managed to eat around the edges where it was a little more cooked,( we just figured we'd take it home and finish cooking it for breakfast.) We asked for a manager, cause I ran out of ice in my pop to rub on my lips. I figured I should report my burned lips, just incase they would want to write up an customer incident report. All he did was apologize and offer to take one steak dinner and one cheeseburger dinner off the bill The waitress came to clean off our table, we asked for a takeout container for the steak, her comment was " but I thought you said it was disgusting? And walked away with the plates. The bright side, the Hostess at the front door was very pleasant. Give her a raise!
Drove from Sudbury dying for Lonestar. Walked in at 9:26 to be told they had already shut down the grill. Seriously, do you close at 10:00or 9:30? Totally disappointed! Never will I return to spend money at this place!
After waiting 10 minutes at the cold entrance we were seated at a table. Our drink order was not taken properly nor were we provided information about upgrades. We ordered our food and even after asking what was on the Mexican poutine, I was not informed of sour cream so had to scrape it off myself. Food was good but after waiting and having to ask another server for hot sauce and metchup as our didn't feel the need to check on us at all throughout our dinner, our cold food was not that bad. Bathrooms were filthy and many tables around us were emptied and not cleaned. Customer service definitely needs to improve here as this would have made our visit much better.
