Hakka Town is a real Authentic Hakka (Indian Chinese) restaurant and it's the best that I ever have in Ontario.Very good quality, good price, good serving size and people are very friendly.You must try.
I finally was able to try the food from Hakka Town. After living in Markham and Toronto before moving to Barrie, I would often get Hakka Food from so many of the Hakka places in Markham and Scarborough, (Frederick's, Lin Garden, Tangerine, Hakka Cottage, etc).The food at Hakka Town is amazing, I ordered the Chili Chicken (hot) and the Hakka Town Chicken Noodles. The taste is amazing it is easily as good as anything I have had in the city, if not better.I highly recommend Hakka Town, I can not wait to go back and try more items off the menu.If you go in by the Service Ontario entrance it is located to the left up the stairs (or elevator) on the left.Do yourself a faviur and go try some of this amazing food! There are a few tables in the aisle like a food court. I took it home to eat.
Much like other people that have reviewed Hakka Town. It truly lives up to its rating!Growing up in Scarborough and Brampton then moving to Barrie, I've missed the taste of chili chicken, Hakka noodles and Pakora..... I'm so happy I've found this magical place
After moving to Barrie recently we were looking for some Hakka food and aren’t we glad we found this restaurant! My wife and I absolutely loved the food from here and will definitely make this a regular place for us. The customer service of this restaurant also exceptional. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for some delicious Hakka Chinese food.
Actually this is the first time I’ve been to this place with my family we ordered for takeout The food at Hakka town is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. I love the service at the place and the staff is so friendly and caring with the guests! I highly recommend this place.
Best Hakka Chinese food in the GTA! Fresh, yummy food, the oil and food quality is great! Definitely made with so much love as the consistency of food quality didn’t change. Discovered this place 2 weeks ago and already food from them for the 5th time already.Quality and price are excellent too. I hope they don’t change anything and we keep enjoying their scrumptious food.Best part for us; halal meat!
It is hard to find tasty vegan Chinese food in Barrie, but Hakka Town has some amazing, delicious, great portion size vegan food options!! Although they serve all kinds of foods, I strongly recommend to try their vegan options as well even if you are not vegan yourself!
Excellent service and delicious ? food for vegans as well.Amazing thing is they have separate vegetable oil, vessels and stove to cook vegan food. They have discount options as well in large orders and do provide catering services.Must try Haaka town for tasty ? Chinese food.
Amazing food! Had there large hot and sour soup, Manchurian Beef, and Hakka Town noodles, all food was amazing fresh, extremely tasty. Yes a little pricey but totally worth every penny. Super nice family that runs this business. Highly recommend this place ,probably the best Hakka place in Barrie!
Original review: Ordered the vegan cantonese chow mein. Wasn't that great. Was not made with chow mein noodles, was chewy, and the wantons tasted like grease. The spring rolls I ordered on the side arrived cold. 2 stars.Edit: Decided to give Hakka Town a second chance. I ordered the Vegan Hot & Sour Soup and the Vegan Sweet & Sour Chick’n. Both were hot, delicious, and plentiful. A fantastic meal!
