Awesome food and service! Love the setting, very cute.Breakfast sausage is a little salty/greasy and may give 'flashbacks' of previous cholesterol issues but other than that, 5/5!
This was my first time to this restaurant. Waitress was attentive and seemed happy to be there. Food was good and well portioned . The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of their location. During rush hours it's a bit dodgy to get in and out. This place might be my new go to for breakfast.
Just had breakfast at this restaurant and with barely any customers in the restaurant, i had the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Jenny was our server and she was the rudest, most ignorant server ever. She clearly hates her job by the way she slammed the dishes down on the table and said absolutely nothing. Or the fact that she never came to check on us once after taking our order and slamming our food down in front of us. Even when it was time to pay, she threw the receipt on the table, while kind of tossing the debit machine in front of us before she walked outside. Didn’t ask how the food was or say anything to us when we left. Won’t be back and don’t recommend just because of our experience with Jenny. Horrible waitress.
Incredible food and phenomenal service. They were super friendly and made the necessary substitutions to accomodate my dietary needs.Would recommend to anyone going to Barrie!

See the this place a few times and finally got the chance to go in since my parent and I were doing a retro themed date. Awesome decor! The service was excellent, they were slammed but still got the good out quick and it was so delicious! And not expensive either.. I was impressed. This may be my new fave breakfast spot! I had the eggs Florentine poutine with 2 flapjacks and a milkshake ? amazing!
We've been going to flashback diner for a very long time. We've always gone there as a family when I was younger and now that I have my own family, we bring my son here every so often. The food and portion size is always very good. Service was okay. I do understand the old school retro style diner, but I do feel like the diner could use a detailed cleaning,.
Love this place for their food and service!! Staff is amazing and so friendly, you always get a substantial amount of great tasting food. The only thing I can say otherwise is it could use a refresh, maybe some paint, and a really deep clean to brighten it all back up!
They had a very cozy breakfast diner atmosphere with fast and friendly service! The waiters were super attentive and was on the ball with drink refills! The theming was fantastic, and gave a nice setting to the diner. The food was also quite good - specifically their home fries. The home fries had a more unique flavour I have not tried before, and it was a great experience! The prices were also very reasonable. Overall great experience!
