We drove there on a Sunday evening because the hours posted on Google state that it is open on Sundays until 8pm. We went at 6:45pm and it was closed. Please update your Google hours.
Excellent fish and chips. Nice portion of fish and apparently they fillet them there too. Nice friendly staff there to serve. Not overly busy for a Friday night.
Delicious eats, like just the best fish. Dated decor but our server Kim was great and the new girl Kelsey is just a fabulous personality. We need more servers like this in the world!
Went by today and it was great as usual, today they had a new younger server who went out of her way with her service keep up the good work young lady
I am sorry to say this was the worst experience I have had. We waited to be seated like the sign said - we were ignored for 15 minutes. That was clue #1 we should have left. Someone finally came over and told us to sit anywhere and someone would be right over, so we did.We waited another 30 minutes before anyone bothered to come to the table. Took our drink orders and made an excuse that they were “very busy”. The restaurant was less than half full!!!Three other couples arrived after us and they were all served before us. We were not impressed at allThe waitress came by to confirm the order. It was as if she lost the order! Apologies made for the wait but food was comingAnother 15 minutes and finally dinner arrivedWe had the haddock dinners. This was awfulThe fish was hard, overcooked and greasyThe chips were not good either overcooked and just terrible and you could tell that the oil in the fryer had not been changed in ages. Everything tasted rancid. I was hopeful that it would be a good place to eat as there were good reviews but alas it was not to be. On the upside the bathroom was tired but clean.
I had the fried pickerel, fries and coleslaw. Started with battered mushrooms. Ended with rice pudding and raisins. It was yummy. Waitress was really friendly.

Always dependable for great fish and chips. Always thought they were at the high end of pricing for take out until i went to a couple of other places. You get what you pay for and value is hreat here. Highly recommend.
Is always good value for money, cheerful staff, great variety, Is decent wine and beer prices, delicious haddock.
